The remote paired with my door opener the first time without trouble. It works great.

This remote works fairly well. The program method for Genie remotes is kinda weird but I got it to work. My main issue is that you have to be much closer than you would be when using one of the larger remotes (like the one that comes with the garage door motor). My roommate has the larger one and can use it about a 100 feet away, even one street over. By contrast, I have to be at the edge of the driveway for mine to work.

I had someone else program it, as I dont climb ladders. It took him about 30 seconds & it works perfect.

Had to buy this to replace one of the little dinky 10 year old ones that I lost right after we moved in our new home. The weird clip/holder for the original unit was flimsy and had obviously failed for the original owner. Since the clip was unreliable and only sporadically held onto the remote, I carried the remote in my pants or coat pocket. Now it must be somewhere out on the street laying where it landed when I sat down or reached in my pocket for something and it escaped unnoticed. The programming instructions with the new remote did not agree with the original programming instructions on the old unit. First try to program it failed. Second try failed. Tried both methods again. Based on the instructions, I was worried that trying to continually re-program the new one probably erased the codes stored in the other original dinky unit so I would now have two useless remotes. Finally, just before trying to return it, I gave it one last try and it worked. Both old dinky and new little-larger-than dinky are OK. I gave it 3 stars but changed it to 4 since the programming failures were probably operator error. Looks like it goes on your keyfob but its too big for that - I wish it was bigger so it would be harder to misplace.

Small and convenient and very sensitive.

This remote is fantastic. It works with my Legacy garage door opener and the programing was so simple. Its compact and fits easily on a key chain or in your pocket. The overview that comes with the remote is vague but the instructions route you to a website which has a video instruction guide. For the Legacy all you do is Press the learn button and hold until you get a flashing light, press the button you want to program and the flashing light will go off, press the remote button again and it works. It worked on the first try and we could not be happier. I would recommend this to everyone.

Very easy to install and has no issues, works perfectly

It was super easy to connect to the garage door and works perfectly but after I would say a month or 2 its been a bit hard to open and close it still works tho

This garage opener is very appealing to the eye and definitely does the job! My only complaint is that when you click the button to open or close your garage, there is a very *slight* delay in it. The first time I used it, I didn’t know that so I kept clicking it and I’m sure you can imagine my garage going up and down over and over lol. I’m used to the delay now, and like I said, it works good and looks good!

Universal remote was very easy to program and works as described.
