I bought this remote to match the ones that came with my opener, since I have 3 cars but only got 2 remotes with the opener. It looks and operates the same as the ones originally supplied. It is easy to program, but fiddly to use. The buttons are too small and too close together. It is way too easy to accidently press the wrong button since they are so sensitive. You are never sure whether you pressed the button firmly enough since there is no click or positive feedback. I much prefer using the older, clunky looking remotes that were not so sensitive.

I have an older Genie garage door opener and this new remote was literally a two-button push (one button push on opener - and one button on remote) to set up. Quick and easy-peasy. Works great!

Solved a problem with a click of a switch. Our house isn’t connected to the garage so we purchased this remote to use from inside our home. Easy to open and close garage in morning so we don’t have to access garage from the side door. So easy to install and created ease at night to shut garage after getting home.

Nice remote. Button texture is nice. Buttons are stiff but its new. I think this is easily a 5 star product but its just too busy for me. I have a single 16 foot door. Most houses around me have 1 door. Other areas have 2 doors. So, why 3 buttons? It just makes the buttons smaller and harder to locate the 1 you need. I really liked the remote control docking station I had for the older remote. Cant find one for this remote. Anyway, go ahead and buy it because youll like it.

Bought this for my other vehicle and it works just as advertised. Programming was a snap and have not had any problems with the remote at this time. Will say I have to get somewhat close to the garage like right before I get to my driveway before it starts to open but it’s no biggie.

The controller works very well. It was easy to code to our garage door. Works as described.

Remote works great and decent range, but the buttons often dont respond when I press them. Sometimes have to really mash the button to get it to recognize the signal. Otherwise no issues.

as others have pointed out - if you have a intellicode 1 system you need to hold down button(s) for a few seconds and then with another short push toggle between intellicode 2 (green) and intellicode one (red) opener is small and has good reach BUT - do NOT intend to keep this in your pocket - you will have constant accidental garage opening - because the buttons are so poorly recessed - if you keep this on your visor w clip - great - but def not pocket ready -
