You just cant go wrong with Gingher scissors. They are my favorite brand. These make cutting the fabric on appliques much easier.

These scissors have amazing build quality. They really feel as if they will last a lifetime, and they are super sharp. The slightly odd shape takes getting used to. The idea is that you can cut super close to an appliqué fabric without accidentally cutting into it. The scissors were larger than I expected but very nicely weighted so they dont feel unwieldy.

If you are doing appliqué on an embroidery machine buy these. A must!

I decided to try this kind of applique scissor since it seems to be a popular type and it had great reviews. I also love the brand Gingher, so I was hoping I would like these. Unless your applique design is rather large with nothing but straight lines, I found them nearly impossible to use. They werent easy to use when cutting 95% of my applique fabric, as they were just too big.

They are great scissors. They cut clean and are easy to use

I bought these to cut pile on my wool tapestry weaving and they work perfectly. My mechanically-minded husband was admiring their quality when I opened the package and had to further inspect them before letting me take them to the studio. He said they looked perfectly manufactured.

I never liked to do any applique, but I didnt know there was special scissors for it. Really works slick
