Great scissors, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I make adult, toddler, and infant bibs which are 3-4 layers thick. In order to reduce bulk I trim back the inner two layers of fabric. These scissors make it easy to trim back the inner layers of fabric (trim them back one at a time) without accidentally trimming back the outer fabrics.

Work great for my embroidery

This is a fantastic product. If one has ever cut around an applique with a good pair os scissors and then with a pair of these applique scissors and there is no comparison to the quality and efficiency of these strange looking scissors.

I am new to applique work in quilting and quickly discovered that my wonderfully sharp and comfortable dress making scissors literally cut --too well. After ruining a couple of appliques, I talked with some vets who advised getting some applique scissors. At first they felt awkward because the blades are so different from what I was used to, but now I love them! I can trim into the most delicate corners with ease and without worrying about nips and cuts in the wrong places. Definitely a good investment if you are doing any applique work.

Honestly, I wasnt sure when I ordered these whether they would work well for the felt Christmas appliques I make, but I am very glad I purchased them. The only caveat is that for some of the finer cuts, I still have to use small embroidery scissors.

It is early for me to rate the durability of these scissors, but all of my other Gingher scissors have been perfectly durable. These are well-balanced, attractive, and help me grade seams well without piercing the underlying fabric.

Excellent scissors. Very sharp, easy on the hands works like a charm on baby rolled hems and applique. All my scissors for sewing/fashion design are ginger, very impressed with them all.

These shears make any kind of cutting easier! They are super sharp, fabric just glides through. Makes applique cutting so much easier.

Love these, just learning applique, they have helped tremendously.
