I misplaced my pair of these scissors and with a wedding dress to work on well , that just will not not do. I think everyone that sews should have a pair of these knife edge applique scissors in their sewing scissors collection.

These scissors are sharp and are just the right design for embroidery. I do machine embroidery and appliqué and these fit into the tight spaces perfectly. Don’t know how I got by without them for so long.

What can I say, Ginger scissors at a great price. And this model is great for preventing mistakes when you have yo “cut it close”. Use for trimming the back from applique( (cuts down on extra layers). Also use when trimming in the hoop machine embroidery applique. Use whenever you want to prevent accidental snip errors.

I bought these to replace bent-handled scissors I used 25 years ago. They fit the bill perfectly! I have used them to cut the labels off throw pillows and to trim the fibers in my leather sofa after the cat jumped on it. They cut and trim right up to the stitching line without catching the fabric underneath. They are priced slightly higher than other models but are definitely worth the extra money. As with anything that should last for years, quality over economy pays in the long run.
