> 24 hourI am using this to waterproof a door threshold that has asphalt shingles lapped under it. The asphalt shingles cracked under foot traffic. So I am using this to lay over the asphalt and tuck under the metal door threshold to fix a water leak problem. (its a storage space in a two story car garage, and this area gets rain water when it blows against the door.). what I had to do, to make this work is remove the top layer of sand embedded in the asphalt shingles so this tape will lay flat with no voids and all the edges will hold down. This was much cheaper to fix a problem that trying to replace the asphalt shinges (the previous owner glued them down). I used a 6 inch metal scraper to remove the surface sand in the asphalt under the shingles were flat. Then I applied this gorilla patch tape. For extra grab, I used a heat gun while rolling a 6 metal pipe (like a bread roller), starting from center and working out toward the edges. This really helped the adhesives lock into the asphalt. I expect this repair to fix a water leak that was going to eventually cause lots of problems with the framing under the door threshold. Not bad for less than 20 bucks. good stuff

> 24 hourI bought this for an underwater item and had originally bought flex tape, but when I needed more I found this- which was cheaper and actually had better reviews, so I took a chance a bought this instead. I was impressed at first because I thought for sure it would hold. It’s basically tape with this super adhesive glue all over the sticky side, which once applied, you are suppose to “rub vigorously” to adhere all the glue inside. Sounded great. I should mention i’m using this to connect a pond filter to a plastic pipe.. I had an emergency and needed a new filter by morning so I looked on here and found a similar one but it has the wrong male/female parts so it doesn’t attach correctly.. which isn’t really the end of the world because until I get that dealt with, tape works just fine. It’s been about two years now and this is only the second time i’ve had to replace the tape. Okay so I put layers of this tape on and really work it in and let it dry in the sun for like an hour. It was fine for about two weeks and then it completely came undone. The pressure blew the filter right off, and I was really surprised bc previously I had used shipping tape (lol it was all I had) and that held almost two years! So I decided to use electrical tape to fix it all nice and tight and put a layer of this on top. So far knock on wood everything is great, but this tape isn’t as effective underwater as other tapes.

> 24 hourWe live in an RV. I had to make quite a few cuts to repair things under the RV. This product is ridiculously easy to install and at the same time extremely difficult to remove. That is what you need in a product like this. I wish I had purchased something like this from the beginning instead of going the cheap route originally.

> 24 hourArrived as scheduled and without damage. Skeptical, because other waterproof tapes failed. Gorilla Tape WORKS! Used to seal a VW convertible top rear glass that has become separated from the fabric top. Carefully measured and cut prior to application. Rub firmly to apply. It is staying attached and sealing the window - even with repeated raising and lowering of the top! Highly Recommend.

> 24 hourHad couple couple holes in my pond liner and very happy with the product so far. Most important as it was mentioned in other reviews. The grey side is the sticky part and has a clear lining and cannot be peeled by your finger and will need a knife with a sharp point to lift the clear part. Once I peel a very small portion, I would recommend laying it to the liner and then press and peel this way it doesnt bubble under it. If you peel the entire piece and misplace it in any way, you will not be able to remove it! Again it’s extremely sticky, works great and highly recommend it! Good Luck!

> 24 hourI had to patch I tire inner tube I use for fishing. I put my fishing equipment in a modified the inner tube and swim to a reef to fish. I patched a hole with the patch and then put over that the Gorilla waterproof seal tape. No problem. This tape sticks even when I force the tube under the salt water. And believe me its very sticky.

> 24 hourI used this to seam pond liner in streams between ponds. It does a good job but cannot be repositioned once set in place so make sure you have everything prepared. Water will eventually seep through under a running stream especially if the seam is not completely flat. I solved this issue by painting taped seams with liquid rubber neo pond sealer.

> 24 hourI used these to block unwanted light from skylights in our church building. I think it took 10 rolls. Second picture shows one with and one without.
