We live out in the country, basically off grid with Sasquatch playing the banjo just beyond the trees, so we aren’t able to get wifi or satellite. These things give us a bit of the technology we would like to have and link right to our Bluetooth for control on our phones! You can turn them on and off at your choosing through the app, or you can set times and days for them to turn on and power the plugged in item. These are perfect for our wax melts and gaming LEDs. As well as lamps for when we just get home from work. I’m already on our 6th outlet and have plans for more. Highly recommend!

Took me a while (senior) to get hooked up to Alexa and still having to say turn o or off outlet #1 or outlet #2. Instead of location. Work in process. Very small print in instructions, would like a bigger font

I use for my bearded dragon tank. Definitely helps when I am not home and still able to switch the lights without worry.

I love these! Install the app. Connect it to your alexa app. And my echo dot (5th gen) can turn them on and off for me! Especially when I dont want to move the couch to unplug something. Its so nice. I feel spoiled having these.

I have 20 of these plugs, and have only had one that had issues. They are used to control lighting and appliances. Especially useful during the holidays. Having two receptacles that can be controlled separately is a huge improvement over products from other vendors.

These units are easy to set up and operate from their app on your phone. I purchased 8 of these and they all worked perfectly and have been working for about 2 months now without issue. I look forward to purchasing more Govee products. I dont use Alexa so I couldnt rate them for that.

Love these smart switches. I have one on the TV/Nintendo switch that is only on for the hours my husband is home, and another in my boys room that turns their night lights on at bedtime and turns them off a few hours later. Super easy to set up. A little unsure of the company itself and having an app on my phone, but overall choosing convenience at this point.

Great for smart home!!

This makes managing my reptiles and fish waaaaaay easier, and I like that you can schedule when they certain things can turn on. There is a learning curve when it comes to navigating the app and how the functions work, but once you understand the basics it’s essentially a piece of cake. This also works when placed directly to the wall with a extension cord in the smart plug itself, just as make sure the extension has a on/off switch.
