Hangman Products S-2040A No Stud TV Hanger Mount TVs up to 55-Inch

I had previously mounted 2 other wall mount systems right above my fireplace with lots of problems. My fireplace did not have wood studs for a typical wall mount. I tried to use toggle bolts so that it can hold the mount against the drywall but over time, the toggle bolt was about to rip through the drywall and did not want to risk the tv falling. So I decided to try this product. Genius idea. It took longer to take off the old wall mount than to install this from scratch. This is the perfect mount if you cant mount your tv against the stud through the walls. It holds perfectly and my tv is 55 so it was about 50 pounds and no signs of any sagging.

This is easy to install. I have used it on two televisions (both on the smaller side) with no problems. The included level is really convenient (slide it into the groove from the open ends instead of pushing it into the groove). A second tip is to plug-in cords before hanging it on the wall. Packaging is minimal. It comes with a variety of screws and nuts to ensure the proper one is used. A great product- no complaints here! Update: After taking the tv off the wall to paint, unhook cords, etc., I realized that sliding the tv into the hanging groove is easier and more secure than setting it into the groove. Its easier to slide it in with 2 people, but I can do it on my own (Im on the short end of average and have smaller tvs, if this helps.)

We couldn’t believe a TV wall mount could work for such a low cost! We shopped for a mount looking at $200 - $500 mounts. At this price we thought it would not be secure. Three years later… it’s still secure! We have told many friends about it.

Super easy to put up! Just make sure you angle the nails downwards and not straight in.

I live in a Trailer Home and really dont know about walls like I know about walls in a regular home, however it was easy to install, I pulled in it before I hung my TV on the wall bracket and it was unmoveable and all day I was checking on it, but its still hanging tight and NO WALL DAMAGE or BIG HOLES WAS MADE. This was worth my money and will tell everyone I know about this items. Very pleased and happy.

Im not a TV on the wall person but was forced to because of my new homes layout. I thought I would need to hire a professional. This was super easy and fast for me to hang myself. My tv is on the smaller side however.

I brought this two days ago. I was a bit scared of hooking my daughter’s 43 inch tv on it but honey! The doubt was gone when I saw how secure and sturdy this mount is! It only took me about 15 to 20 minutes to hook it up ( the extra 10 was trying to make sure it was leveled right. The instructions were very direct so you can’t mess this up if you wanted to.

Ok.. First off, let me say I was super skeptical about this actually working, because frankly, its just a little metal bar with about 21 tiny little 1 inch nails holding up a 30-80 lb TV. Let alone I am the complete opposite of being handy, so I wasnt sure about installation. I have to say, this was a super easy install and even comes with a mini level to make sure its up straight. Took maybe 15-20 minutes to hang my 40 lb 42 TV and hookup all my cables. Its been 2 months now and hasnt fallen off the wall yet, so Id say this was a winner. Also, more affordable and less of a hassle than most TV mounts, plus its great if you are renting and dont/cant drill into wall studs, as I dont have very many in my house. Highly recommend this product and will probably get a few more

Ive bought TV wall-hanging kits before. They were expensive and are still in the boxes because of all the stud-finding, measuring, drilling, leveling, etc. involved. This kit was simple and fast. The only measuring was deciding how high to mount the TV, so I just decided where the top would be, attached the back hanger, lined up the wall rail on the back of the TV, and measured to determine how high the top of the wall rail should go. Then it was just a matter of tacking the nailing strip on the wall, hanging the TV and attaching the cables. For the small TV I was putting up in my bedroom, the whole process was a one-person task that took about 15 minutes and was less difficult than hanging a mirror. The only tools required are a Philips screwdriver and a small hammer. Even with an older TV with all the connections on the back rather than facing the side, the tilt allowance gave sufficient room to reach behind the TV to attach everything. I also really appreciate that the kit included screws for all the various hole sizes that the back of the TV might have, so I didnt have to guess or go out and hunt them. If you just need your TV to hang flat on the wall, this is definitely the kit to buy. Ill be ordering more of them myself.

Was lowkey scared to try this and hang my tv on, especially with the small screws they provided but it’s definitely hanging in there!
