The product was exactly as specified and was extremely easy to replace the old pull start with this one.

Original starter broke. So glad I bought this first, a shop would have probably charged $100 to do the same thing.

5 minute install, back up and running. Perfect fit for post 2014 Hitachi leaf blower.

I had attempted to just replace the rope which was a huge mistake. This costs a bit more but is all together with the coil loaded. It does not include screws, but I used the existing ones and it was very easy to install and my hitachi blower started right up!

If you have a Hitachi blower made after Aug 2014, this is the part you need. Fixed for a friend of mine; part fitted perfectly and worked great, seems well made. See the review explaining manufacturing numbers on the unit, this was crucial in picking the correct part, as they made a running change to the starter.

The rope broke on my coil assembly and this worked fantastic as a replacement.

Perfect fit for Hitachi blower RB24EAP built after 2014 and can be substituted for part #6600406.
