16-06-2025Ordered Jun 14th 2018. Installed July 1st 2018. Went out today July 21st 2018 and cut the grass before the rain came in. Grabbed the blower to blow off the driveway and went to pull the starter rope today and broke off in my hand..... I cannot believe this item lasted 3 pulls. I can see that the rope is of lesser quality than the original Hitachi but now way did i expect to fail 35 days and 3 uses in.... I have other pull start power tools that have lasted well over 6 years without any pull rope issues... :(

> 3 dayThis was really easy to install—about 15-20 minutes. And the pull works great. My only slight disappointment is not with the party itself, but with the sticker that’s on the old part that contains the model and serial number, which I can’t just peel off an put on the new one. Not a big deal, but it would be good to have that info still on my blower.
