Greater than one weekBack when I was using my 4690k I seemed to hit the turbo clock all the time with my little 120mm rad. With this I have never hit 4.7GHz on any core and I have only seen it reach 4.4GHz. its a modest turbo clock I guess but not anywhere near what the packaging indicates. I have a h115i pro cooling it with a total of 6 case fans, (4 noctua chromax, and the two radiator fans) but it just heats up until its at around 70 degrees under load and stops the turbo right at 4.4GHz. they have this screwy system of boosting a certain number of cores to a certain frequency or boosting 1 core at a time to 4.7 I guess I havent had a task that the processor thought should be run on one fast core instead of several reasonably quick cores. Whatever. Its not like Im going to return it and eventually Ill figure out how to get it to overclock or turbo how I like but its a bit stupid for it to advertise some super high frequency when it has to date never seen the need to reach.

> 3 dayabbinato ad una z370 msi tomahawak ram 3200 16gb corsair, veramente una scheggia, temperature nella norma con raffreddamento ad ariain media 25 in idle e max 65/70 a pieno carico, se volete scendere un pochino con le temperature optate per raffreddamento a liquido (preferisco ad aria), ho optato per un msi core frozr L, non ancora fatto overclock, credo di farlo più in là.

> 3 dayIf you are looking to upgrade your CPU this i7-8700 will not let you down. I got it for my personal rig as it was my first build and I am not interested in overclocking so didnt need the K version. It it does everything and then some excellent for gaming if anything its overkill for gaming and for doing multiple tasks its a great choice.
