Jonard Tools PT-100 Coax Cable Wire Tracer Pocket Continuity Tester & Toner with Audible Beep and LED, Red

I bought 2 of these at one time, since I had lost the heads or speakers of my Advantage toners and knew something would get lost off one of these as well. These toners feel a lot more well built than advantage but they only last a month. I use toners every day to install dish. My first one went dead so I wrote Jonard and they mailed me a new one for free. I used the free one while the second one I purchased sat in my glove box for a month. Free one died, grabbed the other one, dead after a month. No it wasnt the battery, I tried different batteries. The speaker still works great but only with a receiver hooked up to push voltage. The heads on these short out and dont push voltage out to power the speakers. As much as Ive spent on these cheap things Ive decided to purchase a fluke toner. Well see if its money well spent

I rely on this tool on a dailey basis to tracing out the cable outlet I need. I keep 2 terminals and 1 ringer in my tool belt. The front end is very delicate so you have to take good care of them. Take it from a guy thats been using this tool for 4 years.. Use the barrels that come with the tool. Keep short jumpers on you so the barrel wont have to come in & out of the tool

Bad toner. Got 2 months out of it. And can’t return it ! $18 wasted

This tool works as expected, and should last for a long time with limited usage. If you have multiple cable lines in your home its a must have to make sure you are hooking you cable boxes up to the right set.

Easy to use. Good loud signal. Not for constant commercial use, too fragile construction. Good value for DIY infrequent use.

The speaker doesnt work at all, waste of money . Second one of these same problems dont buy this toner!

Nice tool to use. Especially when youre doing a big house and have to identify up to 8 different outlets
