> 3 dayI’ve always had one of these since I’m all around Tech and when toning or troubleshooting a single line this makes your life a lot easier. But I just got one on August 20th and it’s already broken. I’m guessing most likely the speaker but it didn’t even make it to three months. He’ll it didn’t even give me a chance to loose it, which is what happened to my previous ones. Just sucks that it didn’t even lasted at all. But good tool to have.

> 3 dayThe pictures on the site show that the item comes with a cardboard backed packaging. Mine came in a taped plastic bag. The packaging and listing show the product comes with a battery. Mine did not!

> 3 dayWhen I decided to cancel the DSL and get internet via cable, I needed to trace the the cables that started in the basement and ran to every room in the house so I could figure out what connections to make in order to get the cable modem to the location I wanted it in. This tester was easy to use and was a great help in this effort. Even the cable guy, who said he uses a much more complex device for the purpose (which measured other characteristics of the cable as well), commented that this seemed like a good tool for the job it was meant to perform.

> 3 dayBuy and old house and scour the house for cable wires. Well if you buy this godsend you can located the crappy wire and finally watch some high def house renovation show to make you even more depressed about the crap house you just bought.
