i think these will be great for wool aplique but it came without the protective cover in the package. i will travel with these and that is one of the main reasons i ordered this pair.

Great scissors...especially for arthritic hands . The openings here you put your fingers are bigger than usual which makes it perfect. The sharpness of them is terrific

The handles on these scissors are a terrific idea since they dont cut into your fingers while youre cutting. Unfortunately, the teeth that grip fabric make cutting really tight inside curves quite difficult. My embroidery scissors handle that task much better since they pivot effortlessly to follow tight inside curves.
