Super easy setup and works great

I have purchased many Kasa smart products and have enjoyed them all. I have found them to be very reliable until now. Last night my power strip appears to have shorted out in the middle of the night. The lamp and other devices that were plugged in to the powership began flickering on and off and now the power ship is making a hissing noise. This is extremely inconvenient because it was at 2:00 a.m. and I couldnt control my lights and the power strip was behind a nightstand. I will say the other smart power ships that I have bought from the same company have all worked extremely well and Ive not had any issues. Im hoping that this issue is a complete one-off and that the others continue to work without issue

I bought this for my Christmas tree and it works perfectly with being integrated with Google. Sometimes the switch will drop off wifi but I dont believe that is because of the switch but more of my network. Easy to set up and integrate with home system.

Use this in garage to control 2 shop light chains and a fan. So very convenient. Ive chosen Kasa for my smart house needs with success and great performance for all units - 5 cameras, doorbell camera, front and back door light switches, several outlets and LED strips in the screen room.

I bought this and tried it out and worked great but in the end didnt actually need it. It has app access and you can turn on and off each plug. Love that you dont need a hub to get this working adding more expense to it.

I like this product. I would love it if all the features worked. I have scheduled several timers for on and off at specific times and they dont work at all. The only scheduled timer that I have found that works is the sunset timer. I have a lamp plugged in and it automatically turns my light on at sunset. I love that--I never have to walk into a dark house. I like being able to turn the light on and off from a different room, as I can automatically turn the plugged in device on/off using the app. I was thinking of buying another one to turn my TV off and on at a scheduled time but I wont since the schedule function isnt working.

I have become a confirmed Kasa fan. I will only buy Kasa smart plugs. Very easy to set up with my wifi network and use with Alexa. I now have two power strips, two of the outdoor plugs and a few single plugs. Im using them to control our Christmas tree and outdoor lights. Very pleased. I set them on a timer or turn them off from my smart phone. Or I just tell Alexa to urn them on or off. Over the last year or two, Ive tried a few other brands (when they were on sale). I had nothing but problems trying to set them up. The app for one of them said Id have to go and change some settings on my router... forget that.... returned right back to Amazon. I dont need the headaches, so I will stick with Kasa from now on. Highly, highly recommended.

Compatibility with Google Home is good but not consistent. Sometimes one or more of the outlets on this 3-outlet strip are offline to Google Home and Smartthings and can only be controlled remotely by the Kasa app. Once controlled from the Kasa app, its available again to Google Home without a reset.

i wanted a power strip with individually addressable outlets for my aquarium that could be controlled by voice (Alexa) and also by schedule. This Kasa powerstrip really fits the bill. Like most Kasa products its very easy to set up via their app. (I also have several Kasa smart light bulbs.) It was easy to link with the Alexa app and now I can control the aquarium light and filter via voice command. Alexa, feed the fish starts a routine that turns off the pump for 10 minutes so that fishfood doesnt get blasted all around the tank. Having the light controlled on a set schedule is helpful to prevent algae growth so I dont have to remember to turn the light off. The USB ports are a useful addition. I have had no reliability issues -- it works perfectly. Ive had it running continuously for almost 3 months.
