13-06-2025A while back I switched all of our miscellaneous smart home switches, bulbs, and plugs to Kasa and have always been very happy with the ease of setup and product quality. We bought this power strip for my wifes sewing/crafting room to plug in some of her crafting tools. Setup was simple as it is with all Kasa products, and once the power strip was added in the app, each plug showed up as an individually controllable device. They immediately showed up in our Alexa configuration (running the Kasa skill) and she was up and running. The power strip is well made, with a nice length of cord and easy to see lights for each plug so its immediately apparent which is on or off. This lets her know if the iron, glue gun, or other plug is on or off at a glance. Having a couple of USB charging ports close at hand is a nice addition, even if these ports are not smart controlled. We highly recommended this device as well as the other Kasa plugs, switches, and bulbs!

> 3 dayThe extension cord is a little bulkier than expected but works great. It paired with the app super easily. I utilize this to ensure certain devices are off while I’m at work.

> 3 dayBest for using multiple smart devices and controlling it with one switch. Works perfectly but makes a loud click sound every time you turn a device on or off.

> 3 dayBasically this just works. I found this because my wife wanted a power strip with individual controls. We have other smart plugs and switches but this essentially acts as three smart plugs. The TP-Link stuff has been super-reliable for us and integrates well with Google home. I bought one of these for a friend for Christmas last year and hes been able to use it with Alexa without any troubles.

3rd Time is a Charmer
> 3 dayI needed a set up, that in the long run would be able to turn on and off my external hard drives, and a table lamp that sits behind my desk. I have several other TP-Link Kasa smart products, so that was one less app to have. I have never had a problem with integration or functionality with Kasa products. I ended up using one of the plugs for my wifes work laptop, but as you can see, there is quite a bit of space between each outlet. That provides more flexibility on what you want to plug in. Pros: - Adequately spaced outlets for potential larger plugs - If you have multi devices to plug in that you want smart access to, this is better than buying a normal power strip or surge protector and then buying additional smart plugs to plug into them (ie. buy a 6 outlet strip, only to have 3 individual smart plugs taking up all 6 spots on the strip) Cons: - Nice flat 90° plug for tight places, but I wish the cord itself was longer than ~36 inches. I ended up 3m velco taping it underneath the desk to keep it out of sight. - Price is a little on the high side. You could save a few dollars going the route I mentioned earlier (strip and individual smart plugs), but this is still more aesthetically pleasing, thus justifiable.

11-06-2025This has simplified our life. Its nice to be able to turn things on/off from my phone at night without getting up. Or by setting schedules for when we want things on/off.

> 3 dayKasa is a brand I’ve come to trust. They are easy to set up with the app, they work well with my network, and they last. The strip with individual smart plugs is brilliant for a small space, like behind the tv. A good value, I think.
