I love the design and the feel. It has a flat plug to be close to the wall. I havent use the USB jacks yet. But the speed to get it setup was incredibly fast, since I already have other devices connected with Kasa Smart App. My previous setup was to use 3 separate smart plugs from the another manufacturer. The location was a weak spot for WiFi signal. By using this smart power strip, it eliminated multiple issues. It seems this is counted as one device. Pretty neat.

Great for the switching.

I have several products from TP kasa due to connection with Google/Alexa/brillant systems. This strip being reviewed has a single outlet which stopped working for an unknown reason. Several tests done and still not working for unknown reason. Contacted MFG and they were open to considering replacement, within warranty period as mine is, but I would be required to pay for shipping of defective item back to them and then wait for them to decide on outcome and send me a replacement. All this is unusual and after spending $35 on a smart power strip which stopped functioning properly. now have to spend more for same product? Other ratings will be good as the product is good. This one just had a defective aspect. Overall TP-Kasa products are worth it.

I like this product. I would love it if all the features worked. I have scheduled several timers for on and off at specific times and they dont work at all. The only scheduled timer that I have found that works is the sunset timer. I have a lamp plugged in and it automatically turns my light on at sunset. I love that--I never have to walk into a dark house. I like being able to turn the light on and off from a different room, as I can automatically turn the plugged in device on/off using the app. I was thinking of buying another one to turn my TV off and on at a scheduled time but I wont since the schedule function isnt working.

I bought it specifically to always power two Raspberry Pi 2B+s through the USB outlets (2.4A) and to conditionally power two 3D printers. You do need to install a phone app, to attach to power strip to your wi-fi network - and it is convenient to name the device and/or the individual plugs. After that, you can ignore the app. (I did not test the Kasa app, but it does look clean and offers hooks into Alexa/Google Assistant/IFTTT/Smart Things, as well as generic sensors, door locks, motion sensors, and smart bulbs.) Home Assistant had a simple integration that found the plugs after they had been set up through the Kasa app, and the power strip responded 100% to the HA controls. I am very happy with the purchase, and will consider more of these in the future.

A while back I switched all of our miscellaneous smart home switches, bulbs, and plugs to Kasa and have always been very happy with the ease of setup and product quality. We bought this power strip for my wifes sewing/crafting room to plug in some of her crafting tools. Setup was simple as it is with all Kasa products, and once the power strip was added in the app, each plug showed up as an individually controllable device. They immediately showed up in our Alexa configuration (running the Kasa skill) and she was up and running. The power strip is well made, with a nice length of cord and easy to see lights for each plug so its immediately apparent which is on or off. This lets her know if the iron, glue gun, or other plug is on or off at a glance. Having a couple of USB charging ports close at hand is a nice addition, even if these ports are not smart controlled. We highly recommended this device as well as the other Kasa plugs, switches, and bulbs!

Does what it says and does really well. I was skeptical if this would give me headaches with the app and such, but nope. Ive been using it daily for months now without any issues. Happy customer here.

The product is great, the plugs do exactly what I want them to do and the product seems to be 10/10 quality. The only disappointing factor was the USB ports. They work great and emit a lot of power, but they’re NOT smart ports. I have these USB powered lights and I was hoping to use those as smart ports but I had to plug the usb into a cube into the plug socket. Overall great product just with a missing feature in my opinion.

Me encantó, a penas que la sacas de su empaque se nota la calidad, no como otras reglas que piensas que al pisarlas se dañan, no... además hasta luce bien. Me encanta que cada switch es independiente y a la vez pueden trabajar en conjunto.

I love this product. It allowed me to turn on or off my different devices individually, using my iPhone through the app or with alexa voice commands. This allows me to save energy by turning devices of that I dont use frequently but have to have connected on a power strip.
