Kester 24-6337-0027 Solder Roll, Core Size 66, 63/37 Alloy, 0.031 Diameter

Bought it because my other solder was crappy but this one is perfect for drone repairs.

I only usually solder for automotive use. Since most wires in auto are small, I dont need anything thicker than this. I like how easy this melts and flows. Im not a pro, but I know enough to do a good job and not a sloppy one. My main use for this is to repair wires that people cut or rip to install speakers, stereos and alarms in their vehicles. Its a big roll so it should last me quite some time. *I found it really useful to leave the roll inside the carton case it came with. Make a hole on one side while holding the carton case to pull the solder out, this will keep the roll from unwinding. Without the cover the roll will easily unwind and its so annoying.

I bought this rosin core solder after much research. Im glad I did because it works like a charm. Enough solder to probably last me a lifetime!

Was recommended this by a micro soldering blog and I will keep it going.. I recommend this solder for micro soldering or any pcb/electronic soldering flows real nice

This is a full 1 pound spool of Kesters most popular leaded solder for general electronics use. The 0.031 diameter is small enough for working with most PCB components while still big enough for easy general electronics wiring projects.

I finished my first Radio Shack roll of solder recently (after about 15 years with it) and needed something new. I had heard good things about Kester so I decided to check this out. The diameter is much much smaller than the RS roll, which I was worried about, but its turned out to not be a big deal. The solder has been great so far and I finally have a setup that gives me as little frustration as I think I can get. At this point, its not the iron, its not the wire, its not the solder, its on me if there is any difficulty! Now if only I could find the ultimate helping hands setup...

Works great--tons of flux--no need to dip a tip with Kester. This stuff is like watching butterscotch pudding on the black top in Arizona during August. Flux me--no Flux you. Works great. Tons of smoke to enjoy and reasons to light more incents.
