Very easy to work with and great adhesion. You will need the Norsmic roller to make this job a success. No smell at all. Installed in the rear trunk of a 2015 Kia Forte which sits low to the ground and absorbs a lot of road noise. This quieted things down I would say 90%. Makes for a quiet ride and helped with sound quality as having a subwoofer in the trunk it kept any rattling from happening. Perfect purchase, I am very happy

8 mil thickness (same as dynamat), super sticky adhesive side, easy to cut and shape. Covered the inside roof of my 56 Chev. I used a short, hard urethane roller and a medium firm long-handled roller to roll it out. Its a bit of work to roll it out over head, but it sure is good when its done. A noticeable difference in cabin temperature and noise. I will be buying more for the floor and doors. Great product and a great price.

Great Product. I was replacing the headliner in my Monte Carlo SS and replaced the original thin felt with the Kilmer 80 mil Mats.

Got this to reduce trunk vibrations from bass. Wasnt expecting it to cancel it completely. I was surprised with how well it actually did though. After reading reviews of other more expensive products like Dmat and 2ndSkin. But this product also had good reciews as well so bit the bullet to save some cash and glad I did. I got enough to do my whole trunk and rear deck lid were my 6x9s are by the rear window and had 3 sheets left over. Thinking of getting another box so I can do all 4 of my door but would have a lot left ober after that. So thats still uo in the air but I am going to use whats left from the 1st box on certain rattle poins on the doors for sure. If Youre up in the air about getting this or the more expensive brands just go for it. I know people that have each if the 2 high end brand I for mentioned and Killmat does just as good of a job for about half the price.

I completed a full replacement of the interior of my 86 K20. Once I had everything out of the cab, I cleaned the painted floor and put these squares down. I did not get meticulous and cover every single square inch of the cab floor but definitely got 99% of it just to the back wall of the cab. This box was more than enough and I still have about 1/3 or more of the box left. I went from a rubber mat to new carpet on top of this stuff and there is a noticeable difference in the sound level. Hard to say how much is from this and how much is from the carpet itself but the interior is much more comfortable now.

Worked great! No smell! Excellent adhesion! Wear gloves! Bu where is it now? I do not see it available anymore. I want to order more but can’t.

Used it for my 1971 vw beetle. The engine noises reduced by so much using this! I can’t believe I drove without sound deadening. This stuff sticks on everything. It’s like tar. So even rust it’ll hold to. Even some greasy surfaces it held! I’m very happy to say this is great stuff.

Before purchasing, I researched several manufacturers of Sound Deadening material. I drive a truck with off-road tires and enjoy quality sound from my radio without road noise interference. All of the leading manufacturers of sound deadening material use butyl rubber in various thicknesses. I bought the .80 ml thickness from Kilmat because of the positive reviews and the price. I installed the Kilmat material in all four doors and on the back firewall. While I don’t have a decibel meter to provide firm data, the decrease in road and tire noise after installation was noticeable and, in fact, I would say surprising and significant. I definitely enjoy driving on the highway more in a quiet vehicle. My guess is that it decreased road noise level by 30% or perhaps more. The key is to buy enough material to line the “inside” metal skin of your “outer” door as shown in the photos. In summary, the purchase was well worth the effort and cost.

This was really great quality insulation - stripped my car to the frame (removed trim and chairs etc) and adhered it to the frame itself. Easy to cut the pieces down to size with a simple box cutter (though will get gunked up over time with the black stuff inside). Put it down, kinda use a flat surface thingy (I used an old name tag from work) and then went over it with my hands (the heat from your hands helps). Now my car is clean, quiet and warm in this cold front were all having. Highly recommend if youre looking to quiet your car from outside or engine noises (Id say a good 20-30% decrease from before I did this). Very happy with how it turned out.
