Kreg KMS7723 1/2-Inch Self-Adhesive Measuring Tape

Saves a lot of time.

Got a different table saw so I wanted to re-adjust my kreg miter gauge, this was a direct replacement.

Whoever came up with this idea had a true flash of brilliance. I use this measuring tape every single day. It is attached to a 6 foot table where I process outgoing packages. I can use it in photographs to show sizes, and I can get quick measurements without having to recall where I last left my traditional measuring tape. Because I didnt have a recess at the edge of the table, I was concerned that the tape would stick up too much, but I havent had a single issue with it.

Worked as it should

I bought this from Amazon to go with my the tracks I bought directly from Kreg. The tape is easy to see even from arms length away from the work bench. I rated the adhesion a 4 since I was expecting the tape to be a little harder to pull up than it was, I had to reposition mine after cutting and placing it on the track. Also, I dont know if its typical or if my case was a fluke, but peeling the backing off the tape measure was a pain in the neck. I was laying down 6 of tape and peeling and placing as I went, taking my time fortunately. But every inch or two, the backing would rip. I ended up just taking it slow and carefully using a utility knife to get under the ripped pieces of backing to peel them away and then kept going.
