    This was a gift my son received. This expensive lego set does not come with printed instructions. You need to download them or install an app. I have been trying to view them on kindle for my son to build, and cannot get them to load properly so he can view them. Very frustrating for him and for me. I have no desire to add an app to build a lego set. Hugely disappointed in Lego for this.

    This is the best! If you read the reviews that gave it less stars you can tell its because they didnt understand what they were ordering. These Legos are such a different way to play and its amazing. Thanks Lego for coming up with new exciting ways to play. The best part is the instruction app (a quick free 5 second download) so you dont have to worry about ripped losing instructions with missing pages. Instructions are always really accessable and fun. And after playing with it the boys still had fun rearranging things and making it their own, so you can still have creative play, the best part of Lego. Make sure you get Mario first! These sets are fun!

    Set is really fun, but several bags within the set were missing pieces. We needed to use other Lego we own to finish it - which did not make my 6 yr old happy. Would have been nice if we had all the pieces. We purchased it new and all bags were sealed...so not sure how Lego QC missed it.

    Wow. I can’t really believe it, but there are no written instructions included with this set. Mildly infuriating. I’m currently updating the iOS on my phone to be able to download the Lego app, to even be able to build this. Disappointing. I’m giving it 2 stars bc my kiddo thinks it’s cool... but just wow.
