I used to use WeMo products but was so tired of the devices showing offline and when I needed to change a scheduling rule, I had to delete the rule and re-create it; it would never save changes to an existing rule. The Leviton system works perfectly! I now have 2 Smart WiFi plugs and 3 Smart WiFi Light Switches. I will be adding alot more as they are needed for sure! My only gripe with the Leviton, I cannot seem to find a way to schedule on/off with 1 rule using specific times. I have to create a rule to turn the devices on at a specific time and another rule to turn the devices off at a specific time. Seems like an oversight to me.

One works but plug slips in and out - there is nothing in plug receptacle to hold plug and lamp does not get power. The other one will not connect to Samsung Smart Hub & Echo Alexa. I have 10 total in my house so I m very familiar with resetting them and connecting. Not sure if these were refurbs or just a bad batch but they need returning.

I like to have the lights on when I get home at night, but I dont like leaving them on all day and night wasting energy. So, I decided to dip my toe into home automation and did some research and found the Leviton Smart Wi-Fi Plug In. The app was easy to install and set up and the instructions were simple. I dont have a lot of patience for electronics that require a degree in engineering to set up and appreciated the intuitive controls. The schedules were easy to set up and I enjoy the ability to turn my lights on using the app before I get home. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to simple and easy light automation and scheduling to their homes for safety and peace of mind

Needed to control the Christmas Lights that were plugged in at an awkward location. The hardest part was getting to the outlet. Setting up the switch with the MyLeviton app was a piece of cake! Also, since the cord plugs in on the bottom instead of the front it fits nicely behind furniture. Will definitely be getting more.

Works as expected. Great for applications such as turning your yard lights on in the morning before walking to the (external) garage, turning them off when you leave. Security for the family without any re-wiring. Keep in mind that you need a constant link to the WiFi for it to work correctly, and for that reason it will siphon off some power constantly, worse if it has a weak signal (so for this reason it may not work if your external garage is too far away). I like wired, tried-and-true technologies and applications best for around the house, but this definitely adds some versatility for the non-electrically minded. And even for an (electrical) Engineer, its great for temporary applications while I decide what to make permanent. You know, turning lights on while away, Christmas lights, etc. Good product. Glad to not need a hub.

I had one fail, but they replaced it promptly after I emailed them my problem and returned the failed unit.

I got this product for easy Lamp control on my bedside table. Super easy set up and configuration. The 90 degree plug style is great when fitting the Module behind a nightstand! After my device was enrolled, the Scheduling and Integrations were what I was most excited about. Created a schedule that coincides with my morning alarm, to turn the lamp on. Ignoring that, to snooze is not an option. The schedule then turns the lamp back off shortly after I leave for the morning. The next, most convenient thing to me is the Google Assistant integration. Climb into bed, get comfy, and tell the Google Mini to turn off the lamp without rolling over or disturbing anyone else in the bed. I also love the IFTTT integration. I quickly set up an IFTTT applet that will toggle the lamp if the camera in the Baby’s room detects crying at night. Those integrations and features made the decision to go with this DW15A a no brainer for me. Pack that up with the 5 year warranty, the fact that it doesn’t require a hub, and the mobile app, and there’s no better solution available on the market!

Ordered this plug-in unit to work with my echo. Super easy to install, literally plugged it in, downloaded the free app, followed some on-screen instructions and done! Connecting with Alexa was super easy and now with a simple voice command, my lights come on and off. There is a nice timer feature as well which was also easy to do, but for my application, i dont need that. Great product.

Great product - works as advertised. But it only works if your WiFi is up and running. So if your WiFi occasionally loses its mind (power loss, lost internet connection, etc.) you will not be able to control the connected device during the period the WiFi is down.
