> 3 dayI was so excited for this for my boys. Little tykes used to make a quality product but it seems they are slipping. The floorboard so you can use this for babies absolutely won’t go in. It doesn’t even really fit into the empty space. And you can absolutely forget the securing tabs fitting into the holes since they are located in the wrong place (see photo) we also could only get one of the back roof supports to pop into place. This was even after we drilled the hole bigger. This caused the roof to sit crooked and not align correctly. Also, one of the front wheels was very snug when we put it together so it barely turns and also barely rotates. Sometime it just drags across the floor. The kids still seem to play with it but I imagine they will get frustrated since it doesn’t want to roll correctly. And I hesitate to push my baby around in it in case his feet get caught under the wheels. Do yourself a favor and find one for sale that’s already put together so you can inspect it for any issues ahead of time

> 3 dayWas easy to assemble. This makes the second one I got for my one year old grandson the first one had trouble with the wheels. However little tikes sent replacement parts but it still never solved the problem. So I just got a new one and this one is made a little different the only trouble with this one the stirring wheel keeps coming off . I have bought little tikes for over30 years and never had trouble with anything other than these two trucks . I have a little red coup car thats 30 years old and still going strong. So I will keep buying little tikes its still a brand I trust and love.

> 3 dayI need to take a break from building this thing... it’s a major pain. I finally got to the steering wheel and IT WONT GO IN I’m ready to throw it out the window. Or contemplating just not putting it on........ even though that’s the one part that makes sound. It’s literally the last step and it’s taken me the longest to do! On trial number 263926402 to get it in. The quality of the assembly sucks. I’d pay a little extra to have it shipped assembled even....... and I’m an engineer! I build things all the time. But this one sucks. It’s a shame because the truck itself is cute and I know these last a long time once assembled usually but I’m not confident in this one. Oh and step 1..... I put the door lock on. It definitely doesn’t work. Luckily my kid is old enough to not throw himself out the side door. Other cozy coupes and vehicles I’ve had the lock work just fine but for this one the door seems off a bit. The lock doesn’t catch the other side to latch. Overall I’m frustrated with this toy. I know if I ever get the stinking steering wheel in my kid will love it..... right now it’s just a big piece of plastic with wheels and cute stickers. Without that steering wheel I know my kid will be bummed.

> 3 dayWe love that this style has a floorboard that easily comes on and off. Siblings can push a younger child with out fear they will break a foot! Wis( it had some kind o& seat belt, though.

> 3 dayIm the Grandma and purchased this for our 2 year old grandson as I thought it would be a nice transition from something we push (even though this does have a handle for those instances) to him using his own feet as the peddle power I usually have no problems assembling these sorts of scooters/cars/trucks but this turned out to be a nightmare. I would suggest watching and following the video on the Little Tikes website for assembly, , not the paper booklet that comes with this truck. The video assembly is in a different order which seems to make much better sense. Other issues that I encountered: The O ring was a bit too wide, thus preventing positioning of the white steering clip under the O ring (which is absolutely necessary in order for the steering wheel to stay in place) I ended up using a Zip tie through the pre-drilled holes where the two ends of the steering clip should have gone. Also had a problem with the 2 screw/tabs used to secure the floorboard into place. The instructions show they easily snap into the predrilled holes--alas, not the case! It is a great ride on/ push truck, but we will only be able to use it a few times due to the 25 lb weight limit.

> 3 dayWe just gave this to our 1 year old for Christmas and it is such a big hit. It took us less than an hour to put together (me and my husband) and the directions were so easy to follow. It is made of tough plastic so I dont see it getting damaged. We put a big bow on it under the tree and he walked right over to it and immediately starting playing with it. The whole day we kept saying this is by far the best Christmas gift ever... it glides so smooth with a little spot for parents to put their hands to push with ease. It looks adorable and is a good size that we could see him playing with it for years. I would also recommend this toy for girls too... I would have loved to have a truck to play house with or grocery store. It has the cutest little tailgate that our son throws all his toys into... once its closed it cant really open it because it requires a good tug but soon enough. The only con that we can see is the eyes on the truck are too high that they block his view of the road. So we just snapped them off and put them away to reattach them once he gets a little taller. Oh and the horn is like a very cute semi truck horn... not at all annoying. Plus it has cup holders and a gas cap when he needs to fill it up on diesel. Buy this toy its worth every penny... way cooler then the original cozy car!!!

> 3 dayLove the truck, as do my kids. Unfortunately, the gas cap was damaged straight from the box. So far, despite emails to the manufacturer, i havent been able to get a replacement part.

Greater than one weekEasy to maneuver and the horn sound is cool. My 1 1/2 year old loves it. He loves sitting in it, being pushed around in it, sitting in the back and chasing me around in it. Haha worth the money.

12-06-2025This thing took a lot of sweat, cussing, d*mn near crying, I got it! I got to admit, I feel pretty darn accomplished. The instructions are confusing and there’s no holes where the screws go, so you need a power drill. However, it was worth it! I got this for my sons 2nd birthday, and he’s obsessed! I’ve had to bring it in every night so he can ride it in the house too. It has a seat on the back so sometimes his 5ye old sister drives and he sits on the back. It has 2 cup holders and the back holds A LOT of toys when the tailgate is up. 10/10 would buy again!
