Little Tikes Cozy Truck Ride-On with removable floorboard

MOM of boys
> 3 dayI got this truck for my little guy for christmas and he loved it so much that he took forever to open his other gifts. I was afraid of ordering it online just in case we had assembly issues like other reviewers did but the pieces went together very easy, and my husband was done in no time, he only used a screw driver. The directions were simple and direct and it did look great once was completed. Its not as easy to push as a push car and a bit more challenging specially going down hill but I figure it will grow with my little guy and before long we will remove the floor board. The floor board and the handle are a great feature as it allows the parent to push the child around without risking dragging their little feet, the lock on the door is also a nice feature as little ones cant jump out of the moving vehicle. My little one was very comfortable in it with plenty of leg and head room, he loves to go beep, beep and the sound does not drives me crazy as some other horn sounds do. I like the fact that it has 2 cup holders, they are both located in the trunk, wish one was in the front so my little guy wouldnt have to turn his body to grab his cup but happy I have a place to put my water bottle. He usually takes a stuffed animal in the trunk also. I would recommend this truck for parents who are looking for either an alternative to the classic cozy cope or who wants to be able to push their child in a cool truck.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my grandsons first birthday. He loves it. The floorboard addition is wonderful since hes a bit young to actually reach the floor to push it with his feet. Instructions are very easy to understand and it does take about an hour to assemble as stated. Well worth it!

> 3 dayI got this truck for my son who outgrew his push car. We got lucky that all the parts were correct and it wasnt that difficult to assemble, the roof and the wheels were the most frustrating part. The maneuverability is the only part of the truck that irks me the most. One, the handle is not high enough to comfortably push it when your child is in the truck, the entry door was poorly designed to either be permanently locked or leave it to swing open constantly. Two, the wheel design does not work well for this truck, the one we got pulls to the right so we have to walk alongside it when pushing it in order to keep it straight.

> 3 daySo as mentioned by others roof is tricky to put together. I tried following the directions twice. One of the rear supports went in fine the other wouldnt line up, and left a gap. I took everything apart and tried a different approach, which I found to work better. Lay the roof on its top and insert the rear roof supports, once they are in place and the seams and edges line up correctly secure them in place with the screws provided. Now go back and follow the steps to attach the roof to the front cab supports, the rear supports should be flexible enough to slide inside the cab area. If the front supports dont lock into place right away they will when you lift, the rear supports into place. After doing this everything should be lined up properly. Also put as many stickers as you can on before assembly begins, its a lot easier to put the grill stickers on when the grill is laying flat on the kitchen table. As others have said there are some holes that are not predrilled, but in an age where a cordless drill is $30 what is your excuse for not having one? Overall I found this easy to assemble, and my son should get years of fun out of it. I have tried to make it a bit more real by not installing the eyes or the mouth sticker in the grill. A quick trip to the junk yard scored me a 2003 Ram hood badge and two HEMI fender badges which with some automotive molding tape should make it a proper first truck. I found those fit best as a set, though Im sure a blue oval or bowtie will fit on the grill as well. Finally this is a Christmas present, I gave me son the box, today a month early. He isnt two yet and therefore doesnt realize what the box means for him. This way he has a month of box time, and on Christmas morning you wont have to watch your child play with the box instead of the toy. I recommend this to all!

> 3 dayAssembling this product was overall easy, however there was a step that asked us to slide one piece into the slots of another piece but there was no slot. My husband had to drill an opening for the first piece to fit into. Product control failed big time that day.

> 3 dayGreat for pushing child in, but not very effective for child to control by pushing with his feet. The steering wheel doesn’t control the wheels at all. Although it spins, it’s decorative only. Also, the tailgate keeps falling open.

> 3 dayI have been purchasing these Little Tike Cozy cars/trucks since 1982 - the first one for my son when he turned 2 and the newest one - a truck for my 7th grandson. It has been a tradition to get the grand kids one of these when they turn 2. Having put these together many times, I already knew to take my time, READ carefully each step. Takes a bit of pressure to put some of the pieces together. On this truck (the first truck I have bought for the g-kids) the only thing NOT working was the horn. I did follow all instructions regarding pulling the tab out after removing the cover, but the horn would not work. Since my g-sons birthday was the next day, went ahead and used the broken horn on the truck. Called Little Tikes this morning and they are sending a new horn, should be here in a couple days. Very friendly, nice CS and extremely helpful. These cars/trucks last for years and I was very happy to continue the tradition with this g-son. Very well made, can be an indoor or outdoor ride and LOVE all the extras on this truck - tailgate & bed, cupholders, and gas cap. My g-son is crazy about the truck!

13-06-2025I was so excited when I found this truck for our son. Our daughter had a traditional cozy coupe 8 years ago, but this one is adorable. I am so glad they did something new. The colors are exactly as shown. I assembled the truck alone and did not have any MAJOR issues with it. If you are even SLIGHTLY handy with tools you should have no problems. There are pieces that do not line up perfectly and have to be forced. There were also pieces that we had to drill new holes for because they were not pre-drilled or did not line up enough to force. It did take about an hour or so alone but I enjoy putting things together so that did not bother me. It was also worth it because the truck is awesome. If you follow the instructions, you should not have problems. They are very specific. I did not have issues with the wheels not touching the ground or any other things that other reviewers had noted. We used our inside for a bit and now it is for outside. I will say it does need to stay out of the sun mostly. We forgot ours in the yard for a few days and some of the stickers started peeling, but no big deal to us. I love the floor piece, too. Our son is not tall enough yet to push it with his feet so we have to floor piece in and he loves riding in it. It is really easy to push and control. Our 8 year old even pushes him around in the grass pretty easily. I would recommend this truck to anyone with small kids. Boys and girls!

> 3 dayI love Little Tyles but I am not happy with this purchase. Be sure to inspect the front wheel body at the top prior to assembly. The one I received wasnt molded correctly so the wheel axel wont go all the way through so I wasnt able to attach the bushing or top hat. The wheel rolls but not very well and if I pick up the truck the wheel falls off. Dont see how I can return it now that it is put together....very disappointed.

Greater than one weekWe love this but it’s annoying that the door always falls off.
