Mario Kart 8 (Nintendo Wii U)

Really fun game for me and my daughter to play together before she gets to her teen years and doesnt want anything to do with her dad ! Thats what its all about for me. Had several previous versions of Mario kart and am enjoying this as much as them. Of course it is a further evolution with superb HD graphics and great new features such as flying / anti-grav which are new skills you will need to master to get the best of the game. Yes, just a really cool game for someone who doesnt even really like gaming.

Fun, fun, fun. Addictive, innovative, challenging and lots of laughs for the whole family.

I love this game, its very fun and probably the best installment in the mario kart series yet. I spent all day playing and still havent gotten bored as there are many new things to see every time you play a track. Some reviewers have complained about the items and the frequency of them however i havent found the coin item an issue at all; but rather the mushroom its far too frequent and you find people passing you from second with triple mushrooms with you having no chance to overtake again. That being said it doesnt bother me too much and the mechanics and beautiful graphics win every time. I got monster hunter free with this purchase so i think it was well worth the price!!! Glad I bought from amazon as two previous tries at purchasing this on another (cheaper) site failed, i was much more satisfied with amazon as i know it is reliable.

Very Good Mario Kart Game

Ive followed this series since I was a kid. I spent many hours on Super Mario Kart on the SNES, and many more on the N64 edition. Mario Kart 8 builds on the excellent Wii effort, and delivers arguably the finest game in the series. Quite the achievement! I think its fair to state the main attraction here is the multi-player. The online mode is thrilling (if infuriatingly unfair - as any Mario Kart stalwart knows), and the tournament/free play options add an incredible longevity to this title. Its one which youll still be playing in five years, presumably until Mario Kart 9 on the Wii Z. This is the real joy of Nintendos exclusives - they pack so much in its impossible not to be charmed. Dont miss out - this is one of the best games of 2014.
