> 3 dayThese are fantastic lights. Really easy to install, bright, several color temperature selections, and the wire nuts are included. Literally all you need to do is kill the power, remove the old fixture (if replacing) strip two or three wires, press them into the nut holes, select the color temp, and put them into the ceiling. I installed five of them in about 30 minutes and my kitchen is so much brighter and more evenly lit. Plus with how long LEDS last I wont have to worry about changing bulbs for years. Love them

> 3 dayI posted a question about having to go into the attic to change the color/mode of the lights. The reason I asked is because I am not able to go into my attic or climb a ladder to reach into my ceiling to change the color. Im betting that Im not alone. I was very pleased to get three responses. Thanks! But I was not happy with the honest and accurate responses that I received, so I contacted the seller to see if there were cables/cords to lengthen the distance b/w the light and box. I am wanting to put the lights in the ceiling, but plan to put the boxes in a cabinet that I can easily reach so I can make the change that I desire anytime I desire. As easy as flipping the switch on the box. The company replied within a few hours saying that, yes, there is a cable kit available to do so. I dont believe we are allowed to mention specific other products in our reviews, so I wont. But if youve ever thought about doing something similar, it is possible. Might be an idea for the company to put the info into their ad. Im giving five stars for an easy install, by someone other than me, because of the enclosed instructions, template and overall design of the product.

> 3 dayI have a basement full of recessed light cans. They run about 6 per switch, so thats a good bit of light...and electric (when the kids leave them on). I picked up these Meconard 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights as a replacement for those cans. Nice 12 pack quantity will do nicely. The lights are super thin and lightweight. The installation instructions are ok, but this isnt an over tricky install since its a replacement of existing 6 inch cans. The power pack is also pretty small and doesnt weigh much. As you can see, it fits about in the palm of my hand. Wiring in is pretty simple, just pay attention to what youre doing and be sure to use good, safe practices (like turning off the circuit at the box). Also on the power pack is the light settings. I went with the second to highest. I dont have dimmers in this area so I didnt try them. Here are my favorite things about these lights: The low profile of the light is very nice. Plus it has that glow night light function is pretty sweet. I also love the easy no twist wiring setup. Ease of install and no need for additional stuff made me happy too. These light are supposed to last a really long time. So I cant say much about that one since they are new. But they do look very good and I DIYd them without issue!

> 3 dayThese lights are great. They are super easy to install, even if you’ve never installed Canlite’s before. These lights can go into a ceiling with almost no clearance at all. If you drill a hole through your ceiling and hit a truss, you can still use these lights. as long as your sheet rock is a half inch thick these will still work. They are super bright, but are dimmable. I highly recommend these, especially for the price. So easy to use, and rated to be installed around or in insulated ceilings.

> 3 dayThese are nice lights. They are easy to install, you just need the right size hold saw. This works with a standard light switch. The nightlight feature is nice (see photo)

> 3 dayThese lights are really cool. The different light temperatures are a nice effect. They are surprisingly easy to install and look nice. Ive had several other lights similar to these and they are usually more expensive with the same or less amount of quality. Very nice.

> 3 dayThe lights are great...good build, efficient, bright. The jp box includes push-in type connectors, but no cable restraints/clamps. The unique feature of these lights is the 3-watt night light setting. After installation, simply switch to on for normal lighting. The light beam with the pre-selected color temperature will be brightly dispersed downward. To select the 3-watt night light setting simply turn the switch on-off-on within 5 seconds. The thick edge (about 1/4) of the light will glow with a low intensity along its circumference. Although I like the option and the effect, I dont like the thickness of the rim. I prefer similiar lights that install flat to the ceiling. These lights sit about 1/4 proud, so they are a bit more noticeable. Most people wont mind this, but these lights dont suit us as much as ones we have installed in other rooms. For us, the look is not worth the night light option.

> 3 dayWhen we finished our basement. We installed about 24 slim wafer LEDs manufactured by Eaton. They were expensive, nearly $30 each. They are beefy and very well made. These have many similarities to the high-end Eaton lights, and I am surprisingly pleased. The materials used are sturdy and feel like they will last. The lens feels and looks like glass (some of the budget lights are made of plastic--yuck!). The 5 colors are very similar in temperature to the Eatons as well. These lights have a smaller driver box, but its large enough to hold 2-3 incoming 14-gauge wire bundles. The clips are strong enough to hold the light in place, and when installed it looks great. These are rated for damp conditions, and I installed one in the shower ceiling; well see how well it holds up! I added a dimmer switch to the two I installed in the bathroom. We all know there are mornings when these can be too bright! Overall, I am very satisfied with the cost vs quality. If these last 5 years, I will be overjoyed! The Eaton lights, by comparison, are supposed to last 25 years... I really like these, and I would say they are a good budget light if you are looking for something nice, elegant-looking, and wallet friendly. I love them--5 stars!

> 3 dayI used a couple of these to replace a fluorescent fixture in our walk in closet. The lights are bright and much better color. Install was relatively easy after you get past the hesitancy to cut into the ceiling. I only wish there were a way to adjust the color of the light while it is installed, that function is on the power supply which gets installed above the ceiling next to the light fixture.

> 3 dayBefore I go into my review, if you do not know what you are doing or not comfortable doing any kind of electrical work, seek out a licensed electrician to help you install these lights! With that said, I absolutely love these thin recessed LED’s. They are so simple to install, simply cut a hole and pop in the light/junction box and the spring clips hold the light tight against the sheet rock. They provide an incredible quality of light in the room, and they are bright! You don’t need a ton of them to evenly light a room. You can also change the color temperature of them to your liking from a more yellow to blueish hue. I prefer pure white. I think it’s the most complementing color temperature to a room since it doesn’t cast a colored hue on everything. The night light feature is awesome! It casts an orange glow from the edges of the lights across the ceiling. Really awesome effect for setting the mood. I would for sure recommend these lights. You can’t go wrong with recessed LED Trims especially with the night light feature!
