> 3 dayMeconard 12 Pack 6 Inch 5CCT LED Canless Recessed Lighting with Night Light, 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K Selectable Ultra-Thin LED Ceiling Lights, 12W=110W, 1050LM, Dimmable Wafer Downlight ETL&FCC The clips for the mounting are a lot easier than some of the other canless lights that use cheap strands of metal to catch the side of where you install them. These ones can either clip on to the ceiling or if you still have can covers above the light holes, they will easily apply pressure to the side walls to keep them up. Looking at the internal components of the controller box, they could have easily just built that in to the light and have it as one unit. But you have to find a place to secure the box which takes away from what could have been a very simple install. The lights are nice a bright and the variable options and night light are great features for these at the cost.

> 3 dayI recommend and install a lot of 4 inch LED ceiling light fixtures and have found that they produce more than enough light. They are easier and faster to install than larger ones. I also like them for task lighting where you have the option to install closer to the work. I like them most because they blend into the ceiling and dont detract from the overall design of the room.

> 3 dayHighly recommend these lights for the following reasons: Easy to install Bright and easily dimmable Super thin, and flush look True to color and the easy ability to switch during installation Awesome night light feature that is turned on within 2 seconds of turning off the main light Fair price These low profile recessed LEDs w/junction box are easy to install in any ceiling as you wont be dealing with any bulky cans. The lights have clips on the sides and they clip into place. There is also a provided cutout template that can be traced on the ceiling, removing the guesswork of hole size. Additionally, I really like having the option to choose the color of light I prefer.

Greater than one weekThey showed up in a couple days and the came nicely packaged to ensure no damage. The directions are super simple and they are really easy to install. Super bright nice quality ceiling lights. Truly a great deal for the price! The junction boxes are small and easy to manage on a ladder. Great set of recessed lights!

> 3 dayAt about 10 dollars each light, this 12 pack of 6 LED lights is a great value. These are quality units, well made and plenty bright. They can be adjusted to different color tones based on your preferences. Installation is simple but requires some care. I would recommend studying up or hiring an electrician for the Installation process. Overall we are pleased with the lights and the energy savings they offer.

> 3 dayI always love these wafer lights. Very easy to install without the worries that comes with installing dome lights with cans. Just cut a 4.13 inch (105mm) hole with a hole saw and it fits snuggly into the hole and held in place with the attached spring clips even when theres obstruction like a wood beam in the way. 5 selectable color schemes was a plus so you can choose how bright your room should be.

> 3 dayI recently have been working on switching out my old recessed can lights to the new LED lights. I ordered these because I wanted to try out the night light feature for the hallways. Installation is pretty much like other recessed cans in that you remove the old one, wire up these lights in the little box and clip the lights into the hole. The ambient light coming from the outer ring for the nightlight feature is nice and has a warm color. The regular light is very bright as well, and the color selection is very nice as well. These are great!

> 3 dayI have gutted a house and have been replacing the ceilings and adding a lot of downlights to both brighten rooms during the short winter days and to highlight different parts of the rooms or to set moods. To do all of that, I made a test bench where I could easily swap out different light switches and LED downlights. Not all switches work with all LED lights and not all LED lights are dimmable. Some downlights make buzzing noises when you try to dim them, others just switch off and others wont dim less than 90% of full brightness. And different switch / LED downlight combinations can achieve different results. These lights by Meconard claim to be dimmable from 3% to 100%. They are not. They maybe go down to 50% if I am being generous and depending on the switch. Some dimmers result in the light turning off if you set the switch too low. Some switches resulted in buzzing from the LED lights, but the buzzing is very soft. I would doubt most people would notice a few feet from the light. The nightlight is also dimmable and it does dim a bit more than the main light, but not to 3%. Switching between the nightlight and the regular light is done by flicking the wall switch and this feature works well. The light comes with the standard metal box where you make your connections. Opening the box to make your connections is easy enough. The light includes quick connects. The wires from the box are tinned and the wires are rigid enough to be able to push in and out of the quick connects unlike stranded copper. You can choose from several different light temperatures which works well. The switch is on the outside of the metal box so you will have to reach up into the ceiling to change the temperature, but this is normal an having the switch on the outside of the box is preferable. Overall, these are nice lights. I do wish they dimmed as much as claimed but they don’t so I am taking off stars for that. Pros: - easily switch between the light and the nightlight - five different color temperatures - come with quick connects and the light is easy to connect and to install, assuming your wiring is all ready to go on your end. - low profile Cons - not as dimmable as claimed and they can buzz with some dimming switches
