> 24 hourOK so I got the light in hopes of helping my birds I think it does but I find that I like sitting next to the birdcages and somehow the light makes me feel a little better too even the dogs seem to like it so there might be something to this. It’s been a few weeks now and I think the birds have gotten used to it and I actually think they like it too.

> 24 hourI am so happy I decided to get this. My conure had gotten a burn from the previous lamp I used! I felt so bad and guilty! this lamp does it all, he gets the spectrum hes been missing and is a happy fella again. & pleasantly recovering from his burn as well now.. couldnt be happier. I got the 18, and so glad I did, my cage is 2 x 2 x 3 and it fit perfectly. I removed the grey plastic clips that were on the lamp, as they werent doing anything to assist and I didnt see any use for them. As you can see in the photo it helped in clipping the lamp to the cage a bit better. I did find it was a tight fit with the braces otherwise. Overall I love this light!

> 24 hourVery easy to install and brightens up my cockatiels cage really nicely. I installed on the inside of the cage because she has a prevue playtop cage. She is a lot more chatty and whistles a lot when the light is on. I purchased a tlink kasa socket to control the light with. Allows you to use as a timer or just a light switch from anywhere you have wifi.

Our ChewGuard PetLight comes with everything you need to safely install and power your lights, their own power supply, mounting hardware and stainless steel cable ties. Please note that the light does not have a power switch and must be connected to a common lamp timer so that your birds receive a consistent amount of light. LEDs are also suitable for humid environments and are safe from any liquid you might spray while cage cleaning.
Installation
M&M lights can be mounted both inside or on top of the cage by attaching them securely to the bars with the provided mounting brackets.
The power cord MUST be secured using the supplied stainless steel cable ties. Stronger beaks can bite into the stainless steel conduit if they can get their beak all the way around it. Also, dangling wires can be dangerous to your birds, be sure to secure them to the cage.
