I have a 55’ TV that’s been sitting in our bedroom on blocks of tile slabs which is on top of a chest. We’ve been wanting to mount it to the wall for quite sometime now because the wife keeps telling me how my big feet always get in the way of the viewing screen. I came across this gem here on Amazon and due to the great price and good ratings I decided to give it a go. It arrived the other day and my original plan was to set aside a whole day this weekend to get this bad boy up. When it comes to tools or handi work around the house I am very inept. I figured if I can’t complete it in 24 hours then I should just return it because I don’t deserve it. Last night I had a courageous moment and decided to take a crack at it. I had it up in little to no time! Remember how Tom Hanks reacted when he created fire for the first time in Castaway? That was how much felt when I completed the project. What really made it so easy was the provided mounting template. I knew that my wall studs were 16’ apart so once I located the center of one stud it was just a matter of sticking the template to the wall, using the included leveler to level, and then drilling. Great product at a great price!

Recently moved. Left this mounting bracket model on the wall of my old bedroom. Have bought the same model for my new bedroom. Loved the old bracket. Easy to install. Sturdy. Easy to attach to my 43” flat screen TV. Price was reasonable. Expect the same with the new bracket.

To be honest, I wasnt terribly concerned with quality, or the actual load capacity, when I ordered this mount. The LG 43 LCD TV I mounted with this is far under the limit, so I was just happy to find an inexpensive mount that appeared to be sturdy. i.e. We wanted it to articulate, but I didnt want anything that was going to wobble around. The whole kit was nicely packaged. I only glimpsed at parts of the instructions, and although theyre a poor translation to english, theyre quite clear. There is a very nice assortment of hardware (screws, washers, spacers) to accommodate most displays. The template was the biggest surprise. Not only did it include a stick on level, but there was also adhesive tape on the back. I simply had to mark the bottom center, hold up the template, and once it was level, affix it to the wall. Once I got it mounted, I put a fair bit of my body weight on it with it full extended, and it didnt budge at all. That was impressive. Attaching the TV, adjusting the tilt, and such was all straightforward. Overall, I dont think it gets much easier to install a wall mount. It might be worth noting that the final attachment involves two screws that lock the TV in place, and theyre a bit long. Ive seen easier configurations, and even some that actually latch in place, and then have a screw as a secondary locking mechanism. Until you tighten down those screws, your TV could be knocked or bumped off the mount. Some TVs are heavy enough that becomes unlikely, but this particular LG could have easily been knocked off its new perched. Otherwise, the configuration is absolutely fine. And how often are you going to be in the position where those screws are undone? My one oversight was the width of the wall mounting plate. I bought the TV on Black Friday, and ordered this mount the same night. The studs in our wall did not fall where they needed to be. Ordinarily, I probably would have sent it back, and ordered one with a wider plate. This mount went into a built in shelving/cabinet that has 3/4 plywood across the back. I was able to get two lag screws into a stud, and the other two are simply in the plywood. It is more than secure enough for our 20lbs TV.

This thing is a beast. If you mount it right it will be in your wall and survive an earthquake. The instructions are a bit sketchy, but on YouTube theres some excellent videos (the only by the actual company is just so so). I have an old house with plaster/lath walls so finding a stud is part guess work and part drilling pilot holes. And the whole thing about finding the center of the stud? Not sure I did it--but the screws are in there good. The unit comes with a cardboard template that was a godsend. It has a tiny little level you stick on it, which makes the installation easier than it would have been otherwise. I was going to buy a mount at Costco that cost double this and I am glad I didnt. This one is a very common model and, like I said, theres a bunch of good YouTube videos (How did I ever learn how to do stuff like this before YouTube?). Theres one negative review for this mount complaining about the screws (look at the replies to the review). Mine came with screws in 4 different lengths, so I had no problem figuring out which one was right. Bottom line: for $50, this is a great purchase. Id buy it again in a heartbeat.

This mount was barely 1/2 the price of a comparable product at local retailer. I was a bit skeptical of what to expect of the quality, but really did not want to spend a bunch of extra money on a mount. I am pleased with the mount. First of all, it was easy to install. Took maybe 30 minutes, and that was with me moving slowly. The hardest part of the install was finding the studs in my wall. This product came with all the necessary bolts, and also with a nice template for locating/marking where to drill your wall (once you locate studs). Also, the mounting instructions are fairly well written, which is unusual with so many products nowadays; these instructions are clear, and broken down into small enough steps to make it a breeze. Secondly, the mount itself is fantastic. The range of adjustments is vast, and making adjustments is easy (easy again because of good instructions). This mount feels sturdy, and all the joints were tight so it does not wobble. My TV is a 55 unit, and this mount is supporting the TV perfectly. Finally, at this price point, it is really a bargain. There is no reason to spend the high retail prices unless you just cant wait a couple days to receive this item in a shipment!

This is a great mount at an awesome price. I bought it to mount my 55 LG and it was super easy. First of all, the mount is very sturdy. It easily handles my 50lb TV and I have no doubt that it can support its rated max of 100lbs. Everything is already assembled so you just mount the bracket on the wall, attach the 2 vertical bars on the back of your TV and hang the TV on the mount. The manufacturer includes every conceivable length and diameter of mounting screws to match the holes on the back of your set. Also there are various spacers for dealing with TVs that dont have a flat back or have recessed mounting holes. Of course there are also 4 strong lag screws for attaching the mount to the studs in your wall. There are some other nice touches too. They give you a little disposable bubble level that sticks on the mounting template. The mounting template has peel off strips on the back to make it easy to stick to your wall. The instructions have a few nice reminders written out instead of just giving you a diagram of the installation. For instance, it says make sure the bolt heads are facing up when you mount the bracket on the wall. The bracket has a lot of options for adjustment. There is tilt adjustment, distance from wall, angle left or right (when out from wall} and there is a separate leveling adjustment to fine tune your final adjustment before hanging the TV. If you are looking at getting an articulating mount then you already know how much easier they are when it comes time to connect your cables. Dont let the bargain price fool you - This is a high quality mount and I am thrilled with my purchase :-)

You need a moderate amount of handyman skill in order to install this mount. Its critical that you hit the wood studs or wood structure in all four corners or it will likely pull out of the wall. There is no margin of error. Typically, wood studs are 16 apart and that is exactly how far apart the holes in the corners are. I wouldnt bother with the included plastic levels as they are both junk. Use your own level and follow the directions drilling the correct size pilot holes into the wood. Once bolted to the wall, hanging the TV is very easy. Just screw the brackets to the back of the TV and hook it onto the mount. Then secure the two bottom safety screws to keep it from pulling off. My only complaint with this mount is that moving the TV position is VERY stiff requiring two hands and a lot of force. Sometimes you have to reach behind the TV and grab the arms to force them to move. This is not necessarily a bad thing as its much more likely to stay in position than get moved out of position. However, if you routinely want to move the TV around or like to push it flat against the wall after every viewing, you may not like how much force is required.

The mount is very well built and provides more than enough motion to a large screen. The package included well written instructions, a template to mark where to drill holes, a small level, the allen wrench for adjustments, an assortment of screws to attach to the TV, lag bolts to mount to wood studs or a concrete wall, and a bar code you can scan for customer service and installation videos. It was very easy to install and hang a 50 flat screen. It even has a hole in the frame to hold the allen wrench in case you need to adjust the level later. Only caution is confirm your studs are very close to 16 on center where you want to mount it. My spacing was a little more and just barely enough to get solid bite with the lags. The bracket doesnt allow for much over 16. I believe they sell an additional bracket connection for wider spacing, or a larger bracket. I am going to purchase another one from the same manufacturer for a different room.

This is by far the easier to walk Mount I have purchased and I have a number of them. It can fit all filaments for sizing and not just your typical 400x400 or something close. It also comes with a template so you don’t have to struggle holding the wall Mount to the wall to drill holes. The peck that comes with it has dark blue fluid so it can be tough to see but a nice addition to include.

I had huge install problems. That is by the design of my apartment, and not the product. After having to mount 2x4s because of the wall design being both weak, and having a 24 inch stud span, the TV mount holds tight to the mounted boards. Even if this product was not designed to fit my case, I was able install, and the TV is still tight to the wall after over a year. The swivel, tilt, and swing range are very good, in my opinion.
