This wall mount came with a nice piece of stock paper to drill pilot holes. It also came with a small level that could stick to the stock paper and the stock paper had a couple self adhesive strips to stick to the wall. I marked the spots on my wall where the studs were and applied the stock paper to the wall. Double checked the alignment with the studs and used the level on the paper to make it level and drilled the holes. Then I used my impact driver to screw in the mounting bracket. Double checked the alignment with the included small magnetic level and it was good. The screws that were included for mounting the tv brackets to my tv (an old 42 plasma) fit just fine. I was able to put the tv on the wall mount with only one small issue. The backplate where the tv brackets hook on hits the power plug on my tv. I took off one star for that, but it would really be just half a star if I could. I also think its an issue with Panasonic, at the time, using very large plugs on the back of their tvs. I could move the tv higher and alleviate the plug from hitting the bracket but then I would be able to see the tv brackets at the bottom of the tv. I usually buy tv wall mounts from another site, but thought Id give this one a shot because shipping should be faster and Im glad I did (not because of the shipping). This is a nice wall mount and Id definitely put Mounting Dream as something to consider if I needed another tv wall mount. On a side note - Amazon failed to deliver the wall mount by the guaranteed delivery date and could care less when I contacted them to tell them it was passed the delivery date. Amazon shouldnt put guaranteed delivery dates on their site if they dont stand by it. Shame on Amazon for misleading me and other consumers.

Again, hard stop - dont bother reading other reviews, or even this one - just buy this. Incredible quality and detail for the price. The included adjustment hardware (spacers, spacing discs, screws, bolts, etc) allow for compatibility with likely any tv, the overall quality of the hardware itself is top notch - cant believe this is only $50, truly.

I wish I would have purchased this 2 years ago. Very easy to understand instructions. The template and a level were included, that simplified this job, that I mistakenly thought would be troublesome. Once I found the studs to mount to, the entire task was less than an hour

This mounting bracket was used in my office to mount a TV that would be used as both a monitor and a TV. As such I needed it to be able to pull from the wall and rotate at least 45 deg. It does this beautifully. The mounting hardware that was included has everything that you can need to mount this on 16 studs. Having said that it will NOT work on stud widths greater than 16. The kit included 2 levels. One was a small bullet level and the other just a bubble level. The bubble level had double sided tape that could be removed and installed on a wall template. You would then use the wall template to mark your drill locations. Excellent system. The bracket itself is very sturdy and the small TV that I mounted on it is WAY under the weight load for a bracket of this quality. I would certainly purchase this again if needed.

What a great product for the price. The small wall I wanted to put it on didn’t have studs in the right places. If we mounted where they were the mount would have had to go to the very far right or flush up against the side wall. Basically the small wall had just 3 studs. So we used the one in the middle and used two of the bolts. Then on the upper left corner and right lower corner we added an additional screw. Now I just need to remove the wood shelf that my smaller older tv was on. It took my dad and I about an hour to hang. My dad was very impressed with the mount but also with all the different screws and spacers included.

This was super easy to install. Looks great and frees up a lot of space. Came with these velcro type strips, no idea what they are for.

I purchased this product because I wanted to secure the TV mount to two studs in the wall. I was very impressed with the directions the template for marking the stud holes and all the various hardware. Getting the TV mounted I was trouble free. UPDATE Great product, just bought another one!

The mount is very sturdy for a 55 inch Samsung TV. Its range of motion is perfect for at least 45 degrees. Solid Steel and had every part I needed to install. All bolts and washers fit with no problem. Very easy to hang TV. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Fantastic product. Bought two so TVs would both have the same exact mount. While reviewing prior to purchase, I noticed this mount had the highest rating of any product I have ever searched for on Amazon. I can see why. Extremely rugged, well constructed, strong, easy to mount, includes EVERYTHING you need. You wont need most of the hardware that comes with it because it gives you everything that just about anyone would need for any installation. Even a level and a very high-quality HDMI cable! Strongly recommend. I noted that a handful of the many thousands of reviews said they could not mount it because it was only 16 inches wide. Building code in the US has required 16 in wall studs for longer than I am old - 70 plus years. IF your wall studs are wider than 16 inches, I dont know where you live but it wont work for you. Dont give a product a bad review just because you purchased it for a situation where it is not designed to work. You will be very pleased with this mount. Watch the video. This mount does everything the demo shows and is very easy to mount, adjust, and secure a heavy TV.

Very happy, will probably buy another soon.
