I purchased this one after reading many reviews and doing some research of my own. Id like to say that Im really pleased with the choice I made. It would not be fair if I do not mention the packaging before reviewing the product. The box looked very small, like that of an MacBook, and I had doubts that I ordered the wrong size for my 55 LG smart TV. But the packaging was really well done to fit all the parts. All items were carefully and systematically packed into separate pouches. The assembly guide was very detailed. They had even included an installation template and two different spirit levels to help with the installation. That level of professional attention to details was really thoughtful and deserves appreciation. The installation was pretty simple and straight forward, and would not take more than half an hour for someone with a drill in his hand. I installed it in the studs, above the fireplace and it required only 4 holes to be made. The fixture looks very steady and strong after installation. The only glitch I felt was that the size of the drill they mentioned was not accurate. The guide suggests drilling with 7/32 for studs, but I felt that it shouldve been 15/64 or even 1/4. Im not an expert with the drills, but this is what I thought wouldve been better. Overall, Im very happy with the product. Thumbs up to the designers!

First off, Ive bought a number of wall mounts for TVs over the years and this is the best one Ive purchased so far. It has full range of motion (pulls out from the wall, tilts up and down, and pans left and right). Second, all the items included in the package are enough for just about anyone to mount any TV (minus those proprietary non-VESA TVs). The package includes not only the screws, spacers, washers, and mount but also Allen wrench, TWO bubble leveling items, a template you can temporarily adhere to the wall for proper hole drilling, velcro cable management tie, HDMI cable, and (something super rare) GOOD instructions. Clearly someone thought this through when they wrote up the instructions because they even let you know what options you have if your house has 24 spaced studs instead of the standard 16 center to center. Alone, it took me about 25 minutes to mount the mount itself (they also let you know what tools you will need that they do not include, like a power drill and hex wrench). It took about 1 minute to lift the TV into place and snap it in. Overall, I am very pleased, as the two leveling tools they give you (one of which adheres to the template itself so you can even get THAT level too before you drill, make planning a cinch. I will definitely buy more of these if I ever need to mount another TV. The packaging was very minimal and the contents were more than I have ever seen in any other mounting kit in this price range.

It was what I expected!

Super deal on a swivel mount for heavier TVs. This mount exceeded my expectations for the price I paid for it. It can nicely packaged with everything you would need to install the mount on any type of wall, also came with tons of hardware and spacers to fit almost every TV. Most of it came pre assembled took maybe 15 minutes to complete the entire job. So I purchased this mount to hang a Panasonic 50 plasma TV that weight 75lbs. I was nervous at first be cause the TV weighed so much didnt know for sure the mount would hold and be able to articulate and hold its position the way I needed it to. Well Once the mount arrived and unpacked it I saw that this thing was build very well and I had zero problems what so ever. Just get it mounted, then mount the TV adjust to the position you want it and tighten everything down. Highly recommend this mount to anyone even if you dont thing you need the swivel and tilt I would still get it as it makes cleaning and getting to connections a breeze being able to pull it out from the wall to access the back of the TV.

I was a little bit skeptical purchasing this wall mount for my 55 inch TV ... but I have to say , I am Very pleased with the high Quality and ruggedness of this wall mount ! I dont usually write reviews unless I am really ticked off or extremely pleased. In this case I am very pleased ! Was easy to Anchor on the wall to the studs, and easily very easily supports my 55in TV ! This product appears to be built and engineered very simply but very rugged and strong oh, exactly what I was looking for and at this price, you just cant go wrong..! A Very Nice product that is priced very reasonably .. ! Would Highly recommend this particular product for anyone thinking about mounting their expensive TV on the wall with ample TV tilt, and position adjustments ! High Quality no regrets with this purchase at all !

This is a great mount, very easy to install. However a few things to note: - Fireplace mount - If you are mounting over a fireplace, it is likely that there is a gap of 24 in the center of the fireplace where there are no studs. This is usually to allow room for the metal flu. This mount does not allow for installs greater than 16. However, this company also makes extension brackets which are available on Amazon prime for less then 20 bucks (Mounting Dream MD5231 TV Wall Mount Extended Bracket For 16” Wall plate, Fitting 18” - 24” Wood Stud). Even if you have to buy the extension mounts its still a good value and attaching the mount to the extension bracket was simple. - Tilting - The titling action did not work as I expected. Yes, you can tilt the TV, but it is more intended to tilt to the angle you want and then tighten the tilting hardware. If you dont tighten the hardware, the weight of the TV causes it to tilt all the forward. Maybe this just my TV, or how it is intended. Not a big deal either way, after having set the tilt angle, Ive never felt the need to change it.

I finally caved and got rid of my 36 Toshiba tube TV from our bedroom and replaced it with a 55 Samsung LED. The old TV was sitting in an armoire which it was the perfect fit. The 55 was going on the wall and I needed to mount it. I decided against mounting it flush so we could point it to anywhere in the room. I did little research before I purchased this mount based on its ability to tilt and swivel along with a good price. Installation is easy even for a marginal DIYer and its heavy metal frame will support at least 200 lbs when lagged into studs. I know because thats what I weigh and I hung on it before hanging the TV. When unpacking, the only assembly of the mount you have to do is to attach the TV rails to the frame but thats after you mount the TV to he rails. The hardware comes neatly sorted in pouches with an assortment of spacers and screws of different lengths to mount just about any TV. It takes a bit of sorting to find the combination you need for any particular model but not all model TVs will work with the spacers and screw lengths. My Samsung didnt and I had to cut two of the screws by about a 1/4 inch to make them work. The only reason I didnt give a 5star is because of the spacers and screws having a large difference in length between the screws provided While the shortest to the middle length screws and spacers length was only about 1/4 inch, the difference in length between the middle screw length and the longest was about 1 1/4 inches. Another length dropped in between would probably make fitting every TV possible.
