> 24 hourThis is only an initial review, since I havent even taken a ride yet since lubing my chain with this stuff but these are my first impressions. After washing my bike and chain, I proceded to lube the chain according to my experience, which is contrary to the instructions, which mention lubing every part of the chain, when in actuality, all you need to lube are the rollers from the top of the chain. Anyway, after finishing and wiping off the excess, I noticed something special right away. I have never gotten my chain spotless after de-greasing, and after lubing with another brand of lube, I would always get more grit and dirt on the cloth I used to wipe off the excess immediately, but with this product, that wasnt the case. Its quite viscous but only more so than the watery lube I would use before. I only dabbed a drop for each roller in my chain and made sure to get each one and rotate the chain and cassette. But while I held the cloth under the chain to get the excess off, all I got was lube and no extra dirt. This shows me what its like to deal with a quality product and although Muc-Off is everywhere you deal with cycling, theyve seemed to have earned their reputation. And while $10 seems like a lot for a bottle of lube, the amount I actually used was minuscule and this will last a good long while. The opaque bottle will even keep light from getting in and drying out the lube, which has happened to me in the past with the other brand I have used in the past. But no more. Muc-Off has won themselves another customer and I cant wait to try out more of their products. Best thing about this lube is the scent. They didnt have to add any scent to this lube and it still would have been great, but details like these make me smile. Give this a try, you wont be disappointed!

> 24 hourBought it after seeing the YouTube test where it beat out other lubes Ive used throughout many years of mtb, road and BMX. It smells great making it a nice lube for indoor maintenance. It applies easily, but Im not sure if it is thin enough for ideal coating and penetration. I use it on my 1x12 MTB, and I clean and reapply immediately after every ride. It doesnt collect too much dirt, but I do notice a fair amount of buildup on the derailleur jockey wheels. The drivetrain is very smooth and quiet in the middle to upper gears, but I notice a lot more noise and chain popping than wet lubes when my bike is in the lowest gear and the cross chaining effect is most severe. I also notice slightly more resistance than wet lubes when it dries and I hand peddle my drivetrain backwards. Honestly, Ive never been a huge fan of wax lubes since one completely seized a chain on my motocrosser and I had to use WD40 to make the bike rideable again. Overall, it didnt really live up to the hype and I think some of the lower priced alternatives are more effective for my use.

> 24 hourI purchased this for a new e-bike after reading reviews of various brands. This one came out on top of about 8or 10 in this particular review. It is NOT a dry lube. It stays wet and I do not think its ideal for coastal regions like I live in due to all the sand. It picks up a lot of dirt. UPDATE: Just spent a weekend ocean front and the humidity alone totally rusted the chain and sprockets on our e bikes.

> 24 hourGummed up my chain. Very difficult to clean. Went back to my old stuff and there was a noticable amount of free spin and quietness of the chain. Will not buy again.

> 24 hourWorks well, but only for a short time. In dry conditions, I have to reapply every 20-ish miles.

> 24 hourJust another gimmick lube! I’ve gone to making my own paraffin wax lube.
