Muc Off Dry Lube (50-ml)

I followed directions and my chain glides. My bike is new, but thereis still a noticeable difference. The factory used a 60s grease gun on my chain. The bottle screw cap is nice and the flow is perfect. Is it me or does it smell like bananas/ candy? Nice touch.

A little more oily then the C3 lube which can make it a little more messy but still great lube.

It sucks dust and dirt into the chain like no other lube Ive ever used. The applicator bottle is excellent, but the product itself is all marketing. After proper application and removal of excess lube, it only takes a single ride before debris is audibly grinding through my drivetrain. Just to confirm I wasnt crazy, I cleaned my chain and switched to Rock N Roll Gold...now all I hear is the sound of silence.

This is only an initial review, since I havent even taken a ride yet since lubing my chain with this stuff but these are my first impressions. After washing my bike and chain, I proceded to lube the chain according to my experience, which is contrary to the instructions, which mention lubing every part of the chain, when in actuality, all you need to lube are the rollers from the top of the chain. Anyway, after finishing and wiping off the excess, I noticed something special right away. I have never gotten my chain spotless after de-greasing, and after lubing with another brand of lube, I would always get more grit and dirt on the cloth I used to wipe off the excess immediately, but with this product, that wasnt the case. Its quite viscous but only more so than the watery lube I would use before. I only dabbed a drop for each roller in my chain and made sure to get each one and rotate the chain and cassette. But while I held the cloth under the chain to get the excess off, all I got was lube and no extra dirt. This shows me what its like to deal with a quality product and although Muc-Off is everywhere you deal with cycling, theyve seemed to have earned their reputation. And while $10 seems like a lot for a bottle of lube, the amount I actually used was minuscule and this will last a good long while. The opaque bottle will even keep light from getting in and drying out the lube, which has happened to me in the past with the other brand I have used in the past. But no more. Muc-Off has won themselves another customer and I cant wait to try out more of their products. Best thing about this lube is the scent. They didnt have to add any scent to this lube and it still would have been great, but details like these make me smile. Give this a try, you wont be disappointed!

Just got the Muc-Off the other day; applied it to two of my bikes chains. It works fine, maybe a bit globby. But the smell... oy vey. I lubed one bike up, put it in the van to drive 20+ miles, and had to take the bike out and let the van air out afterwards. The smell of this stuff is horrible. Pity that will most likely be the deciding factor of me going back to Finish Line Dry.

Easy to apply based on how the bottle is designed and it is easy to see because it goes on milky white. Good longevity. Does not attract dirt. Makes my chain look bone dry and shining like I just installed it. I have used about 10 different lubes over the years, worked in multiple shops... and there is no contest. Those that complain about it building up simply failed to wipe off the excess. With any lube, you should apply a light bead, roll the cranks for 20 seconds and then wipe off as much as you can by rolling the chain through a rag for a solid minute. The outside of the chain only needs enough lube to retard rust. There will be enough on the rag to ensure that. Note that you likely will not see the full performance until your second application or if you first strip the chain completely of the old lube. Oh yeah... and is smells great? What do they put in this stuff?!

Best dry lube Ive ever used. Give it a couple coats and let it sit overnight. Perfectly silent chain, lasts a long time (in dry conditions only). I love that its eco friendly.

Does what it is supposed to. Have been using for a couple months on SRAM NX and Shimano Deore. Thicker going on than the rock and roll gold/red. Smells like candy
