This software will not install. The manufacturer charges money for telephone or technical support.

It appears they have the details that I need to design my real estate contracts. And has the flexibility to give me what I want.

Only reason I bought this was I had an old version of “Quicken Family Lawyer Deluxe 2000” by Parsons Technology. Generated a bunch of forms that get saved a .qfl files (Quicken Family Lawyer). Around 2006 this program was updated for free from Broderbund Software to “Home and Business Lawyer”. All was still good. Could access all my .qfl files when I wanted to change them, print new copies, etc. My old Microsoft XP Professional computer, 32 Bit operating system, finally died and got a newer computer running a 64 Bit operating system. Well I came to find out that many of these older programs used “16 Bit installers” so will not install on a 64 Bit system even though the program itself is a 32 Bit program. It is an installer issue. After trying many things with extracting and replacing installers, running a Virtual Machine, installing on a 32 Bit system and coping the Registry Files, etc. I decided to buy this software as the pictures looked EXACTLY like the other products (Quicken Family Lawyer and Home & Business Lawyer) I used before. After install it I was able to load all our profiles and it took a bit of figuring out, but was able to open all the old .qfl files associated with those profiles so they now got saved under the “Work On A Saved Document” section. So for what I wanted it for I will give it 3 Stars as updates to the software do not appear to be available anymore.

Am unable to install this product on my computer running Windows 10. I get an error message that a required file cannot be read. When I google the error none of the solutions work. The company site has no information on how to correct this. BUYER BEWARE!

Has a lot of good stuff but the save as pdf will not work-No phone support everything is by email-Would not buy again.

It contains all of the forms necessary for most day to day dealings, the wizards help to guide you through the process. It could not be simpler. It works on Win 7.

This package is an older version of this program and although an instruction sheet was enclosed about updating and upgrading, the company will do neither. Unless you pay for an upgrade that is!! I didnt know when I purchased this program that it was the older version, 2006 version, but that may be because I didnt read the fine print. Anyway, I am not happy with this purchase. The first time I have not been satisfied with an Amazon purchase. I have installed the program and although I am using Windows 7 and Avanquest was supposed to send me an update (which they have not done), the program seems to be working fairly well. Only one or two small qliches so far. I like the program, but the distributor - Avanquest - should not insert flyers that they will upgrade the product unless they plan on doing so.

Great for putting together Living trusts, Power of attorney, and many other commonly used documents that would usually require the service of high paid lawyers. Any time I can keep a lawyer out of my pocket is a pleasure!

I wouldnt think of not owning one of these every Home should have one.
