Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)

CB
> 3 dayThis is my 6th bowl / dish - and I really think that my cats eat better, and eat everything in a reasonable time frame. With the bowls on the floor, they left a lot more behind and didnt come back to finish. All my cats have one now. The babies have smaller bowls; the bigger guys have this XL bowls PROs: They clean very easily, a quick soak in hot water will lift up anything stuck. Wet food does not get stuck along the bottom edges of the bowl, as can happen with regular bowls. Not super heavy. But sturdy; I have dropped these on a thick kitchen floor matt and they didnt even crack. Stack neatly on their side in a dish drainer. The XL bowls have a non skid rubber ring on the bottom of the bowl so it doesnt slide around. Ring is removable for easy drying. CON: At some point you are bound to knock the bowl on the counter, sink, floor; because it is ceramic it will chip or break. In over a year of using 5 of these, I have broken only one so bad it needed replacement (smacked into the edge of the sink on the granite). Some of the bowls have chips to the base, but not bad enough to worry about.

Greater than one weekHeard it was better to elevate your cats food dish for digestion. So many to choose from! Took a chance on the Necoichi dish. SO glad I did! Why? It was the best height, one piece ceramic construction, the bowl area was nice and wide and tilted. The bowl edge had a nice raised rim to keep food in the dish. The bottom had a silicone rubber ring (removable for cleaning) to prevent the dish from sliding across the floor. A cute decorative print going from bottom of unit up and around to the top edge of the bowl on the outside. A cat face in the center of the bowl. I’m planning to get another for wet food. We feed both wet and dry. In my opinion, this is the perfect size all around for any cat breed. It would work for kittens just starting to eat wet and kibble. Prevents them from walking, sitting, or stepping into their food dish.

> 3 dayLove these, and so do our cats. Having an elevated dish seems to be more comfortable for them. The only downside is that they take up a lot of space when you store them (weve got limited cabinet space). But otherwise, I love these.

Greater than one weekI was concerned with two issues while my two cats were eating: 1. neck strain when bending down to eat from a bowl lying close to the floor, and 2. the condition - which not everyone agrees is an issue: “whisker fatigue”. My cats, immediately, took to the raised bowls, and appear to like the ability to stand while eating. Whether or not whisker fatigue is an issue, it is something I don’t have to worry about any longer. The wide-bowl design is effective and attractive, and the cute, cat paw designs help make this an attractive product – I have had several friends comment on the elegant appearance of the bowls! Highly recommend!

> 3 dayMy kitty loves her bowl. She doesn’t have to crouch or bend her neck so far to eat out of her bowl. The other one she had was raised also, but not enough. The only problem I have is that the food spills out easily when she eats. I think it would help if the bottom lip of the bowl is a little higher.

> 3 dayThis is an adorable well-made bowl with a nice rubber protector on the bottom. Who knew cats did not like their whiskers to touch the side of the bowl? My cat likes to drink from it but because of the shallowness of the bowl, water evaporates much too quickly and the water becomes stagnant quick. Its hard to carry it across the room for cleaning or filling due to the shallow bowl.

> 3 dayMy cats both have occasional vomiting issues, plus floor-level bowls look terribly uncomfortable to eat from. Enter this bowl! Its wide enough that whiskers dont rub the sides, its dishwasher AND microwave safe, and its super cute!! This is genuinely the perfect bowl for my cats

Sheer Fun For Cats
> 3 dayThis is very sturdy, not tippy at all. I like that it’s one piece and easy to clean. I have 3 senior cats, one who had injuries from a car accident (prior to me adopting him) he has neck pain and he seems much more comfortable eating from this. My other two seniors were throwing up their food several times a week, since I’ve been using these bowls they stopped. I have another young cat who was throwing up as well, she has stopped since using these bowls. She tends to be a gulper, so I flatten down her food (she eats canned or raw food) so that seems to slow her down. It’s a perfect height, a little higher than other bowls I’ve purchased, it’s not a deep bowl, so the sides don’t bother their whiskers. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.
