Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)

This Necoichi tilted bowl is the best. I tried several other raised or tilted bowls because this item was out of stock for a long time, and the other bowls either had poor quality (came chipped, the design was licked off which is terrible) or was not designed well (not hight enough, bowl too deep or too narrow for whiskers, etc.). I am so glad I bought this one when it came back in stock. The height is good for a smaller to medium sized cat and allows them to eat without bending or crouching. The bowl is wide, no whisker stress. The bowl also holds a lot without being too deep, and the raised edge actually does keep the food inside unlike cheaper bowls that promise the same thing. The only thing I wish was that this bowl was 3/4 inch taller, but its a small thing when the rest of the bowl is really just about perfect. Dont bother with the cheap bowls and waste time and money. Just get this one while its in stock.

This food dish had everything I was looking for: 1) raised platform; 2) shallow dish to relieve whisker fatigue; 3) solid ceramic construction; 4) cute graphics. It was also well packaged and had a silicone gasket around the bottom which is fine, but Im not sure its totally necessary. But it was a nice touch.

Love these, and so do our cats. Having an elevated dish seems to be more comfortable for them. The only downside is that they take up a lot of space when you store them (weve got limited cabinet space). But otherwise, I love these.

Very nice bowl but very EXPENSIVE

I have an older cat with health issues, so getting him to eat is a priority. I am astonished that changing feeding dishes can make such a difference!! These are shaped more like a flat plate which enables me to spread the food out for slower eating. I also think the elevated height is more pleasing to a cat. The first time they were used, he RAN to get fed!!! I purchased two of the Extra Wide Raised Food Bowls - one for wet, the other for dry. I also have the Extra Tall Raised Water Bowl. We have a super picky eater who’s recently been diagnosed with FIV, and he NEEDS to eat. After a little research, we decided to try this bowl. With this bowl and adding a variety of foods to his repertoire, we can now see HUGE changes in his appetite. I cannot say for sure whether it’s the bowl, the food changes, or a combination of the two, but he is eating FULL meals now, when before he would just lick off gravy and leave the rest. It’s a bit pricey for a cat food bowl, but honestly if it’s helping, it’s worth it!

I own all 4 beautiful designs of the Necoichi wide raised bowls for each of my 4 kitties. I want the best for my furbabies and I’m always learning about the latest and greatest. Reducing whisker fatigue and better digestion got me sold on these particular bowls. Also trying to change from plastics to ceramics and glass in the home. $20 seems like a lot but the happiness of my kitties is priceless.

My cat is a big boy as one of the 2nd largest domestic cat breeds. His smaller, lower bowl was just not cutting it since he needed to eat crouched down. This bowl is clean with a simple but classic design and non-skid bottom. My cat took to it right away which Im grateful for since he declined eating off a plate before. Im very pleased with this item.

I purchased two of these wide raised bowls along with the raised water bowl. They were nicely packaged and arrived quickly. No damage or imperfections. I previously had a set of three bowls that were set in a wooden pet bowl holder. Aside from the fact that it had broken, the back of it was too high for me to open my cabinet doors - my fault for initially not measuring. It also had a solid flat bottom and when water would spill, it would collect underneath the wood. These bowls are about 4 inches high and as you can see from the photos, my kitties took to them immediately. These are photos of their first feeding. Our Ragdoll kitty on the left weighs 16 pounds and is six years old. Our Siamese mix on the right weighs 11 pounds, 14 years old and undergoing chemo. The height of the bowls seem to be a good fit for each of them. Their whiskers do not touch the sides of the bowls that I can see, so no whisker fatigue. The wide food bowls easily hold a 3 ounce can of wet food. I imagine they would also easily hold a 5 ounce can. Even though they are somewhat flat, there seems to be no spillover of food onto the floor. The water bowl holds a more than sufficient amount of water for my two cats. The measuring lines inside the water bowl are convenient to keep track of water consumed. All are easy to clean and feel sturdy. I am very pleased with the purchase and would purchase them again. I can also open my cabinet doors without having to move the bowls. Highly recommend.

This is the best purchase i have ever made. Its the perfect height and size for my cat. I dont have to worry about his whiskers hurting and I love how its so easy to clean and comes with a protective bottom. I should of definitely ordered more, but overall very cute !
