Necoichi Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Bowl (Cat)
-
Sheer Fun For Cats
> 3 dayThis is very sturdy, not tippy at all. I like that it’s one piece and easy to clean. I have 3 senior cats, one who had injuries from a car accident (prior to me adopting him) he has neck pain and he seems much more comfortable eating from this. My other two seniors were throwing up their food several times a week, since I’ve been using these bowls they stopped. I have another young cat who was throwing up as well, she has stopped since using these bowls. She tends to be a gulper, so I flatten down her food (she eats canned or raw food) so that seems to slow her down. It’s a perfect height, a little higher than other bowls I’ve purchased, it’s not a deep bowl, so the sides don’t bother their whiskers. Best purchase I’ve made in a while.

> 3 dayMy older cat (15) gets soft and hard food since she doesnt drink much water. She wasnt eating all her soft food when I was putting it on a plate for her. Now that she has this cat food bowl, she seldom leaves any behind and is feeling better. My only wish is that there was one available that was non-breakable!! (my granddaughter likes to help!)

> 3 dayI ordered the Tall Extra Wide raised cat food bowl for my cat and wasnt sure he would use it. You know how cats hate change in their life? Well, hes 23 lbs and taller than our other 3 cats. Watching him eat on dishes flat on the floor was a very uncomfortable position for him. Surprise!! I set the dish up right away with his food in it, and he didnt even hesitate to eat. Hes eating more of his food than before, and seems so much happier. He also has very long whiskers, and the Extra Wide bowl is flatter than the other bowls they sell. The bowl works very well to accommodate his long whiskers and height. And, the food doesnt get pushed out of the bowl at all. There has been no problem at all with his food staying in the middle of his bowl. I also got him a tall deep bowl for his water. Now he doesnt have to lay down in order to drink his water. These tall bowls are amazing, so if youre unsure about it....dont be....your cats will thank you. No more whisker fatigue and so much healthier for them.

> 3 dayI absolutely love these bowls. My cat is 19 years old. These bowls do not cause whisker fatigue. He can eat his meals and not be bent down to the ground which is more comfortable for him. They are sturdy, easy to clean and lovely. They make my boys day better. I couldnt ask for more. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI own both the wide flat bowl and this tilted one. When I put dry food on the flat one (the one I bought first) I found a lot of food on the ground around the bowl (a lot). So, now I use the flat one for wet food, and the tilted one for dry food. As long as I dont go crazy filling the tilted dish with dry food the kibble mostly stays in the bowl. As for cleaning these bowls... everyday I scrub them with my fingers to loosen old food and rinse them off. I then fill each of them with approximately 1/4 cup of water and microwave each of them for 20 seconds (to disinfect) before drying them with a paper towel and adding new food. When wet food is really dried on the bowl, I fill the bowl with approximately 1/4 cup water and microwave it for 20 seconds to loosen the food. I then use my fingers to scrub the food away. After that, I add more water to the bowl and microwave it another 20 seconds to disinfect, then I dry the bowl with a paper towel and add new food. Anyway, I only use my fingers to scrub the bowls, no detergent and no dishwasher. Microwave disinfects just fine. By the way, my cat is a 7lb teenager with a tall slender body. I believe that the tilted bowl is the best height for her, and had I to do it all over again I would have either just bought the tilted bowl, or two tilted bowls. If the flat bowl breaks, I will be getting a tilted bowl to replace it. One more thing, I currently use the wide flat bowl for wet food and the tilted one for dry food because of issues mentioned above.

> 3 dayFirst dish arrived in several pieces…very poorly packaged. No hassle return. Second one arrived in perfect shape. I have a large cat & he would often vomit right after eating when I had his dish on the floor. This dish solved the problem.

> 3 dayOne of my two cats scoops out her dry food with her paw and tries eating it off her paw. Most pieces fall off her paw so I always have dry food all over the floor. I figured she was eating this way because it was uncomfortable for her whiskers to touch the sides of the bowl (whisker fatigue). I’ve tried many different elevated (I buy elevated because I feel it’s better for their digestion) bowls, to no avail. This bowl is actually making a noticeable difference! She occasionally still reverts to her preferred method of eating but it’s a lot better.

> 3 dayI got the set for my two cats because I was tired of seeing them hunching over to eat and drink. I love the height and they’re absolutely adorable. Much better than any of the metal or stainless steel dishes I’d bought in the past. I feel better knowing my cats eat out of something that doesn’t have metal shavings like others I’d had. And the porcelain is easy to clean and keep clean. Love these!
