> 3 dayMy kids found Mario on YouTube. I have a DS, so when I told them we could find a game for it they went wild. They love playing it(even though they cant make it past the first level yet). They are 7 and 5 years old, but can play it good. My husband and I remember Mario from our youth and will play after they go to bed. I love that it helps them learn to think ahead.

> 3 dayThis is a great Mario game. Really took the original 8 bit Mario bros and added to it. I love the game play and so do the kids. This is the second copy of this game so they can play against each other in 2 player. 2 player is fun and exciting. For you Mario Bros fans this is a keeper. Highly recommend

> 3 dayWhat is there not to like about this game. Fun for all ages. This is easily one of the best games for DS. As old as it is, it would be a great gift for someone with a DS that has not played it yet. The beauty of this game is simple platforming. Jumping on things, great colorful environments. Good for ages 7 and up. Only because of the game mechanics.

> 3 dayI think this game is awesome, Im a 19-year old player and Ive had so much fun playing it. Read below : Pros: - The worlds are great - The mini games are great - The music and sound are kinda cool ! - Graphis are cool too Cons : - In general, this game is kinda short ! But for younger players, you might take a longer while to finish it. - My touch pad is a little bit screwed up, so Ive had problems troughout the game when trying to touch it to get a new item. But if yours is Ok, then go ahead and buy it. This one worths it !!

> 3 dayI know the name might sound a little weird, but New Super Mario Bros. is a great 2D side scrolling adventure. It all just kind of feels right. There are 8 worlds standard stuff your ice world, desert world, the usual, but they have added some new stuff like these coins that are hidden throughout ever level, there are three in each level. There are two new kinds of mushrooms that you can get one makes you giant and destroy everything in your path which is really very satisfying, and the other turns you into a tiny Mario and lets you get to places that you wouldnt be able to if you were big. The game might seem a little on the short side if you just run through it without getting some of the harder coins or unlocking 2 of the worlds that you can just skip if you really wanted to, but you probably wont. the games about 4 hours long just going through then going back and starting to get all the coins you realize how much stuff there is to get everything it can take in upwards of 20 hours, but you dont have to do that to make the game feel complete you just really need to unlock all most of the levels and beat Bowser. All in all it feels like a really good experience.

> 3 dayIts amazing how quickly things come back to you. I got this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He has gotten better at it over the past month, but I seem to be the one who plays it most. lol It reminded me of the one I had on my old nintendo and I myself have already beaten it. However, it will take my son much longer. I must also admit that weve looked some things up on the net.

> 3 dayAs a fan of Mario games, this game is definitely a must own. Ive heard people complain that it doesnt offer a whole lot of change or innovation compared to games like Super Mario Bros 3 on NES or Super Mario World on SNES, but honestly, thats kind of the point. This game, and indeed the series of games that it spawned (the New Super Mario Bros games) are very deliberately retro. They very deliberately use the same gameplay as the classics. That said, they still do offer some new power-ups that allow for new/different ways to do things. So no, its not the next generation of games, but it is another iteration of the classic formula that people still love, and apparently still want, considering how well this series seems to be selling. In addition to the main storyline game (if it can even be said to have much of a story), this also includes a load of mini-games and multiplayer games, some of which DONT require a second copy of the game to play (as long as the other party has a DS). All in all a great purchase for fans of the Mario series.
