This cooler is drastic improvement from the stock AMD wraith cooler I had on my system. Temps with the old cooler were in the low 40s to mid 50s. After installing, this cooler has dropped my temps into the mid-to-high 30s! Install was tedious for me due to me installing it without removing the motherboard from my case. However, if the motherboard hasn’t been mounted this install is simple. The instructions are straight forward and everything is in the box from Noctua. I would highly recommend for any platform and definitely will be buying Noctua for future builds! 10/10 - Great job Noctua!

I switched from a stock Intel cooler to this Noctua NH-U12S. My idle temperatures were immediately down by 10 degrees. Under a full load, the impact was even greater with temperatures dropping by 16 degrees.

Absolutely love their Secufirm mounting system, all other cooler manufactures need to follow Noctuas lead. Handling my OC Ryzen 5 1600AF at 4Ghz all core perfect, temps under load are at 67C.

First build and quickly upgraded to this Noctua CPU cooler. Before ram could of been an issue with the stock AMD wraith cooler, but this cooler could not have any issues at all. More than enough room in my system.

Todos hemos escuchado hablar de esta marca, pero cuando la pruebas esv cuando te das cuenta que el estandar de calidad de Noctua está muy muy por encima del mercado. Vengo defraudado de las RL AIO. He tenido 3, y las 3 tarde o tempano han terminado fallando o necesitando mantenimiento, hasta el punto que me he aburrido de tanta parafernalia. La ultima que he desechado ha sido una Enermax LiquidFusion 240, chulisima, rgb por todos lados. En menos de 1 año y medio ha sufrido microevaporación y se pone la cpu a 70º viendo youtube. Siiii ya lo se, trae tapón para rellenar, pero la verdad, yo no estoy para estar desmontado medio ordenador una vez al año para rellenar el radiador, y menos aun durante el periodo de garantia. Me decido por la Noctua, veo oferta de articulo usado y no dudo, lo pillo del tirón!!!! oferta de 49,90€. El articulo, incluso usado, lo vende directamente Noctua, no Amazon. Trae una pegatina de Control de calidad en la caja. Cuando abro la caja veo toda la tonilleria en bolsas sin abrir, pasta térmica sin usar, el articulo en un estado impecable, vaya no veo el más mínimo indicio de que un humano ha tocado el contenido. Una vez instalado, por cierto, el procedimiento al lado de una RL con RGB es casi instantaneo, 4 tornillos y listo; enciendo pc y directamente silencio absoluto. Yo ya no tengo HDD, solo SSD, y mi gpu apaga ventiladores sin carga, por lo que solo esta funcionando el noctua y el ventilador de la PSU Seasonic. Impresionante el silencio, despues de años de zumbido de las bombas de agua. Procedo a pasar un test de estress, no os voy a engañar, el más chustero que tenia, el del Aida64, con eso me basta. El ventilador del Noctua no ha pasado de 950rpm y la temperatura máxima en 1 de los nucleos ha llegado un instante a 63º grados. Todos estos datos de temperatura, sonoridad y rpm jamás, repito: jamás, los he tenido con cualquiera de la refrigeraciones que he tenido anteriormente, ya sea liquida o por aire. Por ello, ahora he entendido lo que significa esta marca.

I installed this on an ASRock Z490M-ITX/AC LGA1200 using the LGA115X mounting instructions as the holes are identical but it appears future LGA1200 boards MAY have preinstalled threaded mount guessing by the vague instructions. Vastly quieter and better than the Intel push pin design with I7 chip that basically almost falls off and is noisy. I will upgrade the 140MM case fan now too as it is noisest part of system always running. It was a snug fit and the parts are well thought out overall. I dont overclock so the 120mm single fan design is perfect or slightly overkill for ITX snug case.

I ordered Noctua NH-U12S Chromax Black after doing some research pointing me to Noctua NH-D15 as the best CPU cooler. Every website listed NH-D15 as the best. It might possibly be the best but it is also huge and probably not needed unless you are overclocking which Im not. I accidentally found NH-U12S so after looking at the reviews and the size, I ordered it. I didnt even realize that I already had the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition RGB CPU Air Cooler, SF120R.
