I dont usually recommend vitamins really but I believe d-3 has helped my immune system...I have not had a serious cold for 5 years! and when I do feel one coming on it is short lived with mild symptoms

I have used NOW vitamin products for years...they are reasonably priced!

Oops, did not notice these were 5,000mg. I only take 2,000 a day, so will only take every other day. Interestingly, they are very similar in size as the lower dosage capsules. Good price.

I was instructed to take these by my doctor but to be honest, I dont think Id know if it works unless I get more blood tests done, which is sooo not happening (Im not a fan of needles >w< haha) The product itself is what it is though so all I can do is really assume it contains all the good stuff it says it does. Otherwise, the pills look like little tiny gel beads and go down smoothly with an adequate amount of water (normal swallowing amount works just fine), and the only negative-ish comment I have about it is that it has a bit of a fishy smell if you ever take a whiff of it. It doesnt TASTE like fish (though Ive never exactly bit the pill apart; only swallowed), but if you just smell it with all the beads in the container, they compound to equate fish-stank.

Writing for someone who has acne and scars longest time...and tried every topical creams, peels, and dairy/sugar free diet...but not going away!! Try this thing...Its my 3rd week and my face never looked clearer. At first all the acne they were under skin would have been out weeks later...but came out fast as whiteheads and were gone. Now first time in my life I got no active acne. I also take vitamin A, zinc, burdock root, maca root capsules. But I think this vitamin D has most affect! I even stopped using too much topical creams...just stick to double cleanse at night and stick to moisturizer!!!

I used to take 2,000 iu per day of Vitamin D. I had my blood tested after several months and the levels were still well below the ideal range. I started taking these and incredibly, although better than before, still a bit short of that ideal range. I now alternate between 1 and 2 of these pills per days, so averaging 7500 iu per day. Will have my blood tested again in a few months. I dont get much sun, so that of course has something to do with it.

I work inside all day, sometimes 16 hours without even seeing the sun. I had a feeling that I was vitamin d deficient so I decided to supplement based on my work schedule. I am so thankful that I did! The product itself is awesome and I highly recommend NOW products based on my own personal experience with them. Ive done no scientific tests on them but they seem to always be packaged well and I get the desired effects from the companies products. I notice a difference in my mood and my complexion since I started supplementing D3. This weekend I went swimming with my kids and forgot to put sunblock on, normally I burn to a crisp - not this time! I had no idea that vitamin D would keep me from burning but it does! Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will purchase again!
