This product dissolves well in water and seems to work great! I had a cold sore coming on and I took this and the next day it was totally gone!

Expected L-lysine to taste somewhat salty --like potassium salt -- as this product does. Its quite palatable though. I mix it with a little warm water & drink. Ive taken L-lysine for years & drinking the pure powder with water is much easier for me than swallowing multiple large or giant pills. Easy storage, transport, etc. I just put some in a smaller, labeled bottle & dip out with portable measuring spoon -- kept in small bottle. Can be put in capsules if prepared. I dont think theres a better product on the market.

Good value for the price. My wife gets fever blisters. L-lysine counteracts the virus causing it. A 1/4 tsp or two does maintenance. She takes 4-6 1/4 tsps when having a breakout. Works great.

I use lysine to keep my hsv in check and to help with acne. I’m so glad there’s a powder form. I’ve been taking the big horse pills and some days I just can’t manage to get them down. It’s not tasteless but it’s better than the pills. Mine didn’t come with a scoop like it said it did so I had to look on the questions on here to see how much to use. I ended up using a little medicine cup from my daughters cough medicine. I fill it up to the 2.5 ml line, so half of 5ml.

I read everything on a few lysine products. And clicked the best value....... but neglected to see it was a powder sooo.. not what I expected. Works great does it’s job not sure if better yet or not, but as good as a pull form. Takes in water/ juice/ soda is bitter. Small amount of liquid so more so ya if in an 8 oz glass. I take it with less than 1/8th C so I cannot complain since it could be better than if in a larger amount of liquid. I just mix take and go on. So far. I would recommend this powder.

Had the smaller container before and it was granular. This gigantic tub is powdery and messy. They should use consistency between sizes. It’s very hard to handle and messy.

The kittens seem to love it! They gobble up the wet food it is on and seem to love it!

This is a massive container of lysine, which is great but I was alarmed and immediately checked the expiration date to see how long I have to go through this stuff (I am using small quantities for my cat). It expires only 8 months from today! The normal shelf life of lysine is 36 months. So I have about 25% of the amount of time I should to use this massive container- it will mostly go to waste. Shame on this company for selling something with less than a year to live. This is not a bargain grocery outlet, and I trusted them to send me a product with a normal shelf life since I was obviously unable to check. Buyer beware.
