Osprey Atmos AG 65 Mens Backpacking Backpack

> 24 hourLet me start off that I am a very experienced backpacker. Ive used many different bags over the years but this one is one of the best. Osprey has built a Legacy on customer support and building good value, durable packs. weighs around 4.5lbs but its a workhorse. I recently completed a 22 mile over night hike with it and it is by far one the more comfortable bags Ive used. The Hip belt takes a little adjusting to get it right at first but once you get it its gold. The Anti Gravity suspension is great because it keeps the bag centered but off your back allowing air to get in. No more swamp back. I have their Stratos 34l as well and its just as good. Do yourself a favor and get a good bag, your back will thank you on the Trails.

> 24 hourJust received it. I read many reviews on backpacks and this one fit my needs. I am packing it for a long weekend trip and it will handle everything I need to pack. I love how it fits. I hope I feel the same after the trip! After the long weekender, I am planning a week-long trip.

> 24 hourIt has so many options for adjustment that I can get a comfortable setup even with all the damage to shoulder, hip and leg on one side over time. Would have liked to be able to open the middle of pack. I’d like a clear pouch on top to allow my solar battery charger to ride or some tie loops on top.

> 24 hourThe anti-gravity tech works really well and the bag has pockets in all the right places. I especially like the front side harness pockets that are like mini fanny packs and the two back side pockets that offer a lot of space with easy access.

> 24 hourI got a great deal on one of any Best Lists top backpacks. Not ultralight & not meant to be. Designed for comfortably carrying gear for extended backpacking trips, it checks all the boxes. I wanted the AG (Antigravity) suspension/ventilation system specifically in the Osprey line but Im a shopper. Amazon came through but I shopped & waited for a great value. Strongly recommend if not UL committed. And Dueter. Also have the Vario 45+10. Another great Amazon value.

> 24 hourI got this pack to replace my Teton Sports pack, as it doesnt provide much ventilation and is heavy. It is really well made, and provides much better ventilation and comfort. The stitching is good, and has a very quality feel to it. It is a bit heavier than I wanted, but no heavier than I expected/was advertised. If comfort is a priority, give this bag a try.

> 24 hourI purchased this Atmos 65L for an upcoming section hike on the Appalachian Trail in April. I loaded it up with a light load of about 22 pounds and took it on a test hike of about 6 miles at the state park near me. The features on the pack are great. I really liked the suspension system on this pack and it keeps it off you back so you get some air flow along your back. Will update after my 4 day section hike to see how it performs over a few days.
