Clarity is clear, good size & should work for my project. However, I didnt like the fact that they left sawdust all over it from cuttng it & it got all over me. Really should have cleaned your product, what a mess.

Perfect thickness for modding an Xbox or PS. Easy enough to score and break to shape, just be slow and patient with the process. Dont use acetone or isopropanol to clean (unless you do the ol acetone vapor polish), polycarbonate doesnt like those chemicals too much. I was lucky not to mess up my already cut piece because I accidentally used methanol with a low amount of iso in it to clean before installing.

Packaged with care but the protective film was not adhered well on part of the item.

The polycarbonate sheet was purchased to make a chip and dust deflector for my auxiliary cabinetsaw. It came with a protective film obn both sides, which was very easy to peel off after cutting and bending, and left a crystal- clear surface. The sheet was cut with both table saw and bandsaw; it was drilled; and, with the help of a heat gun and by clamping to the bench and applying pressure via a flat board, bent. The sheet went through all these operations easily, with no cracking or splintering, and the edge was good enough that it needed no filing or sanding at all. Great for its intended use.

So I used this to modify an old aquarium and turn it into a terrarium. Originally I was told to go with glass but I like keeping everything I own super light (I live up a flight of stairs) so If I can cut the weight of anything in a reasonable way Ill do it. Anyway this thing is a godsend. Im actually planning on buying 4 or 5 more of these things to modify terrariums. One disclaimer though I do not heat through the poly-carbonate, I heat through the class and I keep LEDS around this poly-carbonate. I do not have know knowledge about it being safe around animals if it is heated up in any way. Since I dont know for sure I act like it isnt. Anyway this stuff is amazing and I am gonna be a loyal customer for sure.

I bought it to cut a small piece to display a mini Lego Iron Man on top of its Hulkbuster armor in its display case. But I had so much left that I used the rest of it as a clear mat for the various items my family has in the bathroom. We previously use a piece of card board but this looks so much nicer. I would definitely get another piece if I ever find a need.

I needed a glass plate I could have cut to size to fit in my tray but was unable to find any glass that fit the measurements that I could get in a timely fashion or at a manageable price. it was 2 inches too long on the long end but I had no issues getting it separated by making two cuts on either site, bending the sheet and then cutting it again it scratched fairly easily from my scraper due to it being a plastic but as long as I was careful it held up for the whole semester and served its purpose well. If youre in a pinch and need a glass surface for keeping and mixing your oil paint as I did, this should last you about half a year or so, though if you can get it, real glass is preferable for that purpose.

I used this item to create a custom lid/top for my 5 gallon fish tank to help cut down on water evaporation.

Polycarbonate is a superior clear plastic sheet compared to Plexiglass/Acrylic
Sheets can easily be cut, milled, and drilled with any standard tools (hacksaw, jigsaw, snips for thin sheets, standard drill bit, etc.) without the cracking or fracturing you would find in Plexiglass. Additionally, Polycarbonate can be bent neatly. Thin sheets can be bent cold with sheet metal techniques, while thicker ones are easy to shape with the help of a heat gun. It is also perfect for thermoforming or vacuum forming. This makes Polycarb perfect for both DIY and professional projects around the home, shop, or for manufacturing.

Shatter Resistant & Strong
Polycarbonate has great mechanical properties, making it often considered as a safer option than glass sheets or acrylic sheets. Tensile Stress: 63 MPa. Flexural Stress: 90 MPa. Rockwell Hardness, R: 120

High Optical Clarity
Light transmission of 88-90%, tested at 2.54mm thickness per ASTM D1003

Electrical Resistivity
Volume Resistivity: > 1.0E15 Ohm-cm

Protective Film on BOTH SIDES
This product is shipped with a thin protective film on both sides. Please peel this off to expose the clear sheet. You can mark onto this film while working with the material, then remove it to expose a pristine surface.
