I have used Pure Encapsulated vitamins for several years now. And am very pleased with the quality and effectiveness since it has been difficult finding a brand due to digestive problems. I can refer Pure Encapsulation vitamins. My doctor referred to me initially. Can recommend with confidence.

I was repeatedly getting sick over the last few months. Even after antibiotics. these days being sick is even more so annoying because everybody thinks it’s one thing. Anyways I tried these and literally within 3 days my terrible cough went away and aches went away. So I’m assuming I was barely consuming this naturally. Reintroducing it to my system was the best. If you’re like me trying to figure out what to do to. Try these.

I’ve been taking 25mg of zinc gluconate for the past year or so with no side effects. But after reading that zinc picolinate is absorbed better by the body, I thought I’d try it in this 30mg form. I took one capsule with a meal, as suggested, but approximately 4-6 hours later I started to feel a “numb/inflamed irritation” in my throat and ears, which I associate with an oncoming cold. An hour or so after this, I began to feel a “straining” pain in my shoulders and upper arms. Needless to say, this was quite unpleasant. I decided not to take the zinc for a week to check if the irritation and pain were related to the supplement. The next day the symptoms were gone, so I was not in fact coming down with a cold. A week later, I took another capsule, again with a meal, and went about my business. As you can probably guess, since I’m writing this review, 4-6 hours later the irritation and pain returned. The unpleasantness lasted for hours until I went to bed. I did a little research (reading all critical reviews here, and googling) looking for others who may have experienced similar side effects, but I did not find anything helpful. Did I get a bad batch? Am I allergic to picolinate in particular, or something else in the capsule? But Pure Encapsulations make it clear on the bottle that the capsules are “Gluten-free, Non-GMO & Hypoallergenic,” so who knows. For now I’m going back to zinc gluconate; perhaps in future I will again try zinc picolinate, but in a smaller dose.

After using this type of Zinc for almost 1 year now, I have noticed : • Strong, resistant skin : not prone to papercuts as before • Better sleep. I dont even need 8 hours of sleep anymore. I typically feel refreshed after 5-7 hours of sleep. I noticed this around the 6-month mark. * I have a little bit more energy than on days when I skip it. I feel more motivated to hit the gym when I take it weekly. • Wound healing/bruises heal faster than usual. The best benefit is that this Zinc absorbs quickly. Effects are noticed within 1-2 weeks of daily use considering you keep a somewhat moderately healthy diet. Everyone should start taking this because Zinc is actually removes viruses, bacteria from your body, and it is a powerful antioxidant that boosts your entire immune system, respiratory system, AND SKIN.

Just opened bottle and these pills are small!!! Small, and all the way down in the bottom quarter (mayyyybe a third?) of the bottle. No cotton filler, so that ridiculously oversized bottle full of nothing for the small pills.... Yes, mine was sealed with nothing suspect of the seal, but I do have to wonder if the purchase is for the Zinc or the bottle? If it was more appropriately sized (the bottle), it might it cost half.... For the amount of space in that dang bottle, sure feels like a massive rip-off... Well see how the actual pills work, if it can justify that feeling! (I dont need to post photos - just look at the ones already uploaded; it isnt empty because theyve been taking them! LOL The amount of space you see in the bottle is exactly how it comes!)

Pretty expensive. Im sure these less expensive brands out there, but its not worth the fight id have to go through with the old battle axe. But inhonestly dont see what sets this brand apart from the others.
