RaceFace 104mm Single Chain Ring

Threw this on using my stock setup (non-clutch, long cage derailleur) figuring Id have some issues with a dropped chain or two until I switched the derailleur to a clutched shorter cage. Nope. Riding on rocky AZ trails and no dropped chains. Great product.

OK -- so this is a stupid piece of aluminum that should cost $10. That said, there is nothing better on the market. I get about 2000 miles of riding on a 9 speed drivetrain used in all conditions before the wear results in dropped chains.

solved the problem of the chain coming off, no need for the chain guide anymore either.

Ive had it on for ~500 miles and have not dropped a chain yet, despite riding pretty rocky trails. It is noisier than a conventional chainring, but I think thats a narrow-wide thing and not particular to this chanring.

Narrow wide chain ring by Raceface. Installation was easy. Anodizing looks good and the laser etchings look good as well. So far Im happy with the 34t ring with the 11-36t rear. The chain does stick onto the ring much better. I doubt Ill have any drops as I have mine coupled with the MRP G3 and a clutched rear derailleur.

Works great - no chain guide and very few dropped chains. Only issue is that it is getting worn out after about 9 months of moderate use.

This chainring was an amazing upgrade for my 1x10 setup. I havent had a chain fall off since I installed this chainring.
