This case is great, and easy to install the pi into. It feels structurally sound and comes with 4 sticky things to put on the bottom so the case does not slide around on the surface it is on. I would recommend getting this.

This is a nice case that fits well and looks good.

This case was easy to put together as it snaps together. I had it assembled in under a minute with no instruction. The pi fits very nicely inside. The only issue I have with the case is that it contains the heat from the pi too easily. Because of this, I have a fan blowing on it. Eventually I may just upgrade to a different case entirely as to fix this issue. As of right now, I will stick with the case I have.

Seems like It took forever but we finally have an official case from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Was it worth the long wait? Yes, it most certainly was! The official modular case is raspberry red and white (I like the colors!), well-built, and features removable side panels, top frame, and lid. This means you have super easy access to the top of the board, the camera and display ports, and the GPIO headers. Adding a Pi HAT and a copper heat sink was quick and easy. The rest of the ports, including the microSD card, are externally accessible without the need to open the case. This case will work with the Raspberry Pi Model 2 and B+ and the Pi 3. Keep in mind that the cutouts for the LEDS will only line up properly with the Pi 3. The Foundation did a great job designing this case. So much so that its now my favorite Pi case of all time! Highly recommended.

Solid build quality and very good looking case, everything fits with very little wiggle room. Looks great as a media box or just for tinkering. The small rubber feet that come in the package are also nice, as raspberry pis tend to slide all over the place if you arnt careful.

I really like the modularity. Would be cool if it had a design that allowed for a fan to be attached. That said everything snaps on, so something could probably be designed to fit.

Case fits the Pi really well and is nicely modular. Production quality seems hit-or-miss. I have 3 of these cases and the side panels rattle on 2 of them. I have a RetroPie arcade setup housed in one, and its sufficiently protected and attractive to leave laying out in front of the TV.

This case not only looks great, easy to assemble and fits OEM. I use this Pi3 and this case for my BMW OBD WiFi agent to data log and tune flash my Baby Bimmer..

I tested 4 different Raspberry Pi cases, and so far, this one is my favorite. Its very easy to assemble; the pieces click together without having to put too much force; its easy to open it; and if youre using your Pi for some DIY projects with external parts (GPIO etc.) its very easy to open just the top, or just the side (to access the GPIO header).

The Official Case of the Raspberry Pi Foundation has been refreshed for the Pi 3. Designed with HATs in mind and featuring multiple removable panels. Enclose your board as much or as little as necessary to best suit your latest project.
