> 3 dayI’ve been using this keyboard for several months now and love it. Pros: I’m a fast typed and it keeps up perfectly with no lag. So far no problem with the costing wearing thin or rubbing off. Last keyboard was a much cheaper one and the black coating on the keys wore off quickly which removed letters and made the keyboard look bad. The only cons is I wish it had an on/off switch instead of having to unplug it when I’m done.

> 3 dayI wasnt too sure about this keyboard. I wanted a lit keyboard as I prefer to do my gaming with the lights off. I suppose I delayed for years getting one due to the price. I read all the reviews concerning the Redragon keyboard. Although I was somewhat skeptical, I pushed the key to purchase. The lights (or, why were here): Prior to this keyboard I was using a really nice wireless one from Logitech. It still is nice, but it doesnt lite up the keys. The Redragon does...spectacularly! I dont know that I have a reason to use all the light shows it will perform, however, if you are reading this and you want a keyboard that does...this is the one! Now, when it comes to lighting, I wanted one that I could program the color and intensity of the keys. More importantly I wanted to be able to program each individual key according to the key controls for games. There are many expensive ones that caught my eye but didnt have this capability. This keyboard hits a grand slam when it comes to programming individual keys! Everything I wanted. For me that is enough to validate the five stars I gave it. Tactile feel/feedback from the keys: At first I wasnt sure I liked the feel of the keyboard. I used it in a few games and loved it. But I wasnt sure I was going to enjoy typing on it...until I typed out my first email. My fingers were dancing around on the keys making clickity click sounds like Reindeer on the roof. I was afraid I would end up with a lot of typos on this keyboard and the opposite is true. If you want a keyboard with tactile feel and feedback, then Redragon is your buttercup. In regards to the instructions: They arent that great. The good news is that the operation/programming of the keyboard and downloaded software is very intuitive. Seriously, it aint rocket science. I was up and programming in less than ten minutes. Would have been less except I was enjoying all the light shows. Time to sum it up and move on: Truthfully, $49.89 is outstanding for a keyboard of this caliber. Its a great gamer board and also great for typing (even in the dark). I highly recommended this keyboard! On a side note; this aint no plastic keyboard! Whack somebody with it and youll likely get charged with manslaughter (or womanslaughter, kidslaughter, petslaughter or coleslawder). Nice because it doesnt slide around.

> 3 dayFirst, let me talk about my title. I said it was Fully Programmable - on-board. What this means is that you can download the software and go in and change any key you want to be any other key you want. For instance if you wanted to set the / key to say be q all you have to do is open the software click the key and then click apply. If you want to change that key to be a large macro you can do the same thing just select the key in the software and click macro and type you maco very easy! Changing how the keys light up is just as easy. Now, here is where all those computer nerds out there are going to get excited. Those macros are stored on-board meaning that if you program it with your personal computer and than swap to your work computer your profile comes with it. I work with a dos based system that logs me out all the time and because of this I need to log in all the time! This computer does not allow me to install anything to the computer so I was not able to load the software onto it but I was able to put the keyboard on my personal computer install the software and than add a few macros to get me through my log in script. Now, when I need to log in I just press 1 button and than wait for a few seconds while it types out my user name, tabs over types out my password hits enter and than does a few things to get me to the screen I need and everything taken care of. I than set that specific key to glow a different color to help me remember what it does. Plugged the keyboard into my work computer and it allowed me to log in without a hitch. I do want to also mention Coastal is the lighting scheme you must pick in order to set your own lighting up. Not sure why they have the name as Coastal but yeah. The keyboard itself is made out metal and actually has some good weight to it. Not actually heavy but for sure not light! I have 2 complaints with this and they are a bit minor. The first has to do with taking the keys off. They supply you with 2 tools in order to do so and with the plastic one I was able to get my KeyCaps off pretty easily but it left a scratch on the key caps that is not really avoidable. With the keys them selfs this is even worse as I tried on 5 of them to gently get them off and broke the pieces of plastic that hold the keys in. Now, this has not affected me too much but I had great difficulty getting it taken care of so that I could try the different button. My other complaint has to do with the fact that the keys have rather sharp edges. Thais means that when I am clicking hte keys I am find but if I do it for too long my fingers start to hurt especially my thumbs.

> 3 dayIve owned this keyboard for just over two years now, and feel compelled to give it a very positive review. Its been my daily driver for all that time, and have only had to replace two switches. Its got a good heft to it, its loud like any mechanical keyboard is, and my only real complaint is Id like the RGB to be a bit brighter. The reason Im thinking about this is, I want to upgrade to the wireless version - and Id love to be able to convert the cable to a USB 3 one, so I dont need an adapter. I use this with several laptops, and Im converting over to all USB 3 devices. Other than that, I plan on using this for many more years. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayWe use these for gaming. Great mechanical feedback and excellent quality for the price! No problems with keys or need to replace any so far. This brand is a great value. There are audible clicks when you use this keyboard, so if that annoys you (or anyone around you) you may not want to not opt to buy any mechanical keyboard. That said, I don’t think it’s that loud and I actually enjoy hearing the clicky sounds as I type. I’d guess that these would make anyone a better typist (and maybe gamer!) My kids are now mechanical keyboard converts. After moving off of a mushy membrane keyboard, they can’t believe the difference. :)

> 3 dayOverall a good buy for the price. Its a responsive keyboard with some fun little lighting options, though I typically just keep it on the default static rainbow setting. However, after about 2 months of heavy daily use doing messaging and gaming, I started to have a strange issue where the H key sometimes wouldnt register and I would have to press it multiple times. Im not sure exactly what the problem is, whether it is mechanical or electrical. It is slightly annoying sometimes realizing that I left an H out of a word and having to fix it. I would say if I am constantly typing, it happens maybe once every 50 words with an H in it. Personally its not enough to make me want to replace it immediately, but it is something that would really start to bother me if it got worse or extended to other keys. Something else to mention is that while gaming I had the A key pop out a couple times. The way I have my fingers set on the keys is odd as they press down on the left edge of the key instead of the center when I am set up for WASD movement in games, so maybe most people wont ever run into this. I imagine pressing on the edge somehow popped the key out, but I was able to press it back in. Again, this has only happened a couple times since I got it, but it is a bit strange that I would be able to do something like that accidentally when there is a dedicated tool for removing keys from mechanical keyboards.

> 3 dayI bought this keyboard after seeing a few reviewers talk about how much they liked the all metal body. Everything I saw online seemed to agree that the keyboard was really good, but could have been better, specifically complaining about the hardwired cable and tight hotswap terminals that limit compatibility. But when the keyboard arrived, I didnt actually get what the product page described, it turns out theyve send me an upgraded version. Its the same keyboard, but theyve replaced the hardwired cable with a detachable USB C cable, and the hotswap terminals have been upgraded to more expensive plugs with wider switch compatibility. The old terminals only supported Outemu switches because theyre so thin, but Ive tested thicker Gateron switches and they fit perfectly. The LED is on the underside of the board too, so you can even use ones without the LED cutout window and they fit fine (Although they obviously block the light from the LED). Overall I am very pleased with the keyboard, and the upgrades theyve made to it have me wondering why they havent updated the store page to reflect them. I guess I cant say for sure that I was supposed to get this version but I didnt do anything special, I just ordered the bundle with the wrist rest. The brown switches feel great, so ironically I probably wont even use the upgraded hotswap sockets, but its nice to have options anyway. Theres really no issues I can bring up about this keyboard, and over the last week Ive been trying a ton of them to find the right one for me. Ive returned a K70 RGB Pro, a Strafe RGB MK.2, EVGA Z20, Razer Huntsman Elite, Logitech G815, Steelseries Apex 7; and this keyboard is both my favorite and the cheapest of the bunch. If they made a version with media keys over the numpad and magnets for the wrist rest Id be all over it. The only nitpick I can even come up with is that the seams where the metal edges meet are a little crooked and dont sit completely flush, but frankly I dont really care.

> 3 dayI love this keyboard. Love the colors too. And I have a free suggestion to Red Dragon on how to improve their keyboards. I hate dust. You should add a hinged plastic cover to the keyboard to keep out dust when not in use. Just lift it up and youre ready to type. No charge for the idea, but feel free to send me one if you like the idea. Thanks.
