This is up there with the best RPi cases available! Just be sure to get the actual Retroflag case and not a knockoff! Quality is awesome, build is easy to do and you wind up with a really well done project display. I have mine set up as a Retropie game server for classic games and the case looks perfect for the job!

Great Case! Works perfect for the new Pi 3b+. Fan was quiet on my 2, and the power/reset script works perfectly (don’t forget to toggle the switch inside the case for them to work with the script, otherwise it will just be a hard off and hard reset.)

I cant believe what I got for the price I paid. It is sitting next to my Direct TV receiver in my entertainment center and it looks right at home. Top notch quality and the added heatsinks were a bonus. The instructions were lacking so your best bet is to YouTube it like I did.

Adorable little case, wife approved. Fan was cheap & noisy. Replaced it with a larger Noctua 5v fan. Now it’s almost silent. Safe shutdown is awesome. Turning the switch off triggers a shutdown command, the power light blinks for a few seconds while it safely shuts down, then completely powers off. Running Retropie on Rpi 3+, xbox controller.

Great little case. Follow the instructions for how to install a simple program. This will make the power and reset buttons work correctly. It is so nice to be able to press the power button, a script runs automatically, and then it shuts down properly. I am using with Pi 3B. It is running retropie. It will shut down the system, even if mid game emulation. I also find that now I no longer get the overheating icon in the upper right while running some more intensive emulators. Probably because of the fan. Be sure to install the fan facing the correct direction. It only blows one direction. I also like the cool NES look. The buttons feel just like a mini NES. Super fun.

As advertised, Ethernet on the front is a bit annoying. Included fan is quite noisy considering the size.

I have bought a few of these. I use them for retropi presents I give to friends. I buy the retroflag case from geekpi because it comes with the fan and case. Its worth the two extra dollars.

The assembly of the case and the installation of the Rpi 3B+ into the case went very smoothly. I moved the safe shutdown switch to on before I closed up the case. I pushed the power button in and the Rpi began to boot up, but the power light went out. Not to worry, as once I SSHed in to my Rpi and installed the correct safe shutdown code the Rpi rebooted and the power light stayed on. I then hit the reboot switch and the Rpi rebooted successfully. Pushing the power button to the off position caused the Rpi to safely shut down and then pressing it back to the on position caused the Rpi to boot up again and display the desktop. Obviously works as advertised.

Update 2/16/19 - My pi no longer boots or shows anything on screen. I suspect there was a power issue since I kept it running for a few weeks and after unplugging the unit to move it, it decided it was done with life. Even after removing it from the NESPi case and attempting to run it stock, nothing happens. I have many other Pis in the house and have never experienced a failure like this before. I had fun putting this together, my Pi 3 B fit nice and snug and the included screws and screwdriver all went in without a hitch. Fan installation was also easy, but Im not really sure how much impact it has on the overall temperature of the case. I cannot feel any air being pumped out under high load, but it hasnt failed me yet and no lightning bolt icons either with the Canakit adapter. Safe shutdown script installation and operation was easy and works as described. A great package!

Amazing little case. The fan is a tiny bit loud but i can deal with it. If you use the ultimate cooling kit heatsink/fan combo, ive found i needed to use the included fan to cool air to the inside of the case. All fans fit and no voltage warnings so far
