Excellent!

This is a great add-on. After playing Dominion and all of the expansions, it started to get a little stale. Just the addition of the event cards makes everything fresh again. The event cards can be used with all of the previous sets and make it possible to go back through all of the recommended setups again. The fact that there are 20 event cards gives countless opportunities to change your strategy from the tried and true that you came up with while playing and adds a whole new twist. The other big addition is the reserve cards. These are fun and add another element of strategy since you can save them for when they will help you the most or use them as quickly as possible to boost your decks. Those two additions alone make this a great expansion. But, dont forget there are even more regular cards that we have seen before and they are all well thought out and the artwork is actually a step above the previous versions too. That is just a couple of the new additions, there are more to be found when you play the game. If you are or were a fan of Dominion, this will re-ignite your enjoyment of the game and add countless new hours of gameplay.

We bought this thinking it was the game, fooled me. This is an expansion, do not let the wording fail you. Decent expansion if you already have the game though.

So while I do love 98% of the things about this expansion my only complaint would be the tokens...yup they are cheap cardboard. My only thought on why the tokens are so cheap is (and it pains me to say it) because the expansion was made in the US. Dang I cant believe I said it. Really other than that the game is great! I really havent used the tokens yet so I dont know how much that will actually bother me in the long run. Another this is some of the artists chosen to illustrate the cards didnt do a good job, that is a little disappointing. I really enjoy the ability to upgrade cards it can really change the game when you dont realize someone has the upgraded version of a card you have. The tavern mat cards are also great giving you the ability to trash a card (helpful when curses are in play) to bring a card that could give you an extra action and buy in to your hand. If you own a base game (Dominion or Dominion Intrigue) and like it...buy this one. It really might be my favorite Dominion expansion yet.

The game design is great. Its excellent. This expansion has interesting attacks, duration cards, several great treasures, and new mechanics that are superb.

There are some great cards that radically change the game here. Dont make this your first expansion, but a great addition to a large Dominion collection.

Love me some Dominion. This expansion adds in a lot of cool new stuff and mechanics. Definitely a bang for your buck deal as far as expansions go.

Arrived in great condition far ahead of schedule.

This is a great expansion to one of my favorite games. I wish that the chits were higher quality, but I knew that going in.
