> 24 hourIt does its job but one of them was clearly returned and full of finger prints and paint or something that won’t wipe off while the other one is clear without markings. Additionally, it only came with one extension stick. Unfortunately I am short and can’t reach the second one when I’m at home alone. I’m thinking we got a new one and a returned one.

> 24 hourNeeded something simple and temporary to keep our cats from opening the closet door and sleeping in the laundry baskets in our new apartment. This does the trick. It overhangs on the inside of the door, too, so if youre trying to prank your spouse by locking them in the closet...this will not let you do so.

> 24 hourThis is well designed although you may find difficulties related to how your doors are situated. My doors go to the ceiling so the wand was not nearly long enough. The solution to this is to take the product to your nearest hardware store (Lowes) and go to the dowel section. Test fit the 1/4 dowels of your desired length (for me that was 36). When you get home, cut a piece of duct tape 1/2 wide by 4. Put the dowel through the hole for the wand. Wrap the tape around the end of the dowel. This should serve you well. You may also find there isnt enough room at the top of your door for the product to slide or close properly. There isnt much you can do about that unless you can adjust your doors down vertically.

> 24 hourThis is just what we needed to keep our 20 month old grandson out of the pantry. It was easy to install and easy to use.

> 24 hourIve ordered these 3 times, one for each of my kids bedrooms. These give me such peace of mind that my little ones wont get into anything. And it keeps the monters away when they go to bed at night. A win-win!

> 24 hourOnce she figured out she could open these kind of doors there was no keeping her out. Bi-Fold Door Lock to the rescue! Shes not pleased, but I sure am. Easy to put together. Easy to install. No marks or chips on the paint job. All around a winner. 5 *****

> 24 hourI bought this because my kitten figured out how to open this particular type of door, of which I have 3. He particularly likes to break ino the laundry room, because I store the cat treats there, but there are also a lot of hazards. This latch works great. Even though he latches on to the slats and shakes the door, the latch does not slide out of place. There is an adaptor to make it more suitable according to the thickness of your door. You can also attach the included piece that extends down so it is easier to slide if you cant quite reach it., I am 55 and that makes it much easier to use, although I can reach the top of my doors. I cant vouch for its use with children, but it should be OK unless you have a kid who will move chairs and such to unlatch it.

> 24 hourWe had to buy this for our pantry because our cats are insane. They opened the door and tore open every treat bag in there. We learned our lesson after that :)

> 24 hourMy folding closet doors go all the way from floor to ceiling, and even with the extender my 52 self comes no where near being able to reach. They do exactly what they are supposed to do otherwise, but Im now having to go the store and diy an extender for the extenders.

> 24 hourThe piece that comes with the Bifold lock for thinner doors does not snap in place. It is to small (or I should say it is the same size as the base piece) therfore can not snap Because of the price, I gorrilla glued it to the outside of the piece and that worked. I tried using it with out the extra piece, but by wiggling the door continuously my cats were able to move the piece over and open the door. If it wouldnt have been for that one flaw this is a good product
